STRIP CLUB

I bought a Strip Club, and I hired 4 dancers, but from the panel I can't set up the outfits for the dancers and I can't transfer funds from the family unit so my Strip Club remains closed. By phone there is only the option "Buy a Strip Club", how should I do it?

If the household is still supposed to technically own the stripclub you can go on the lot with the owner Sim and type in this command: ww.stripclub_reclaim_lot 

See if that allows you to use the strip club through your Sims' phone correctly!

How did you buy it in the first place? How did you hire the dancers? That all should have been through the phone, too.

Yes, I bought it via phone, but after the purchase nothing appears on the phone, only two options: "buy a strip club" and "travel to the strip club"

Yes, I tried the command but nothing happens, I have version 1.123.85 ... and just now I bought the Club with another SIM and it gave me access to the phone with all the options, but unfortunately it still can't transfer the funds to open it. Later I tried to open it as a small business, but even there the store doesn't open. STRANGE!

Apologies for going over basics, which you might already know, but your references to the "panel" and "open it as a small business" make me wonder if you might just not be following the very specific actions you need to do to make a WW strip club work. Make sure you did all of this:

 

1. Create your strip club in build mode somewhere. Make sure it has a bar, dancing spots/poles, and if you are going to be having your dancers turn tricks, some rooms set aside for that. Make sure the Lot Type is set to Generic.

2. Use your intended owner sim to "Buy a strip club..." through the phone. It should take you to the neighborhood map where you can select any Generic lot.

3. Travel to the strip club (if you're not already there; I think it transports you there automatically when you purchase it).

4. Hire your sims. Design your outfits. Set your hours. Etc. Do ALL of these things WHILE you are still on the lot using the phone app only. DO NOT USE THE OWNED BUSINESS PANEL on the normal UI. Ever.

5. Transferring funds happens by clicking on the little transfer button on the bottom left next to your household funds total. There may also be an option for it in the phone app, I can't remember for sure. Just like #4, DO NOT USE THE BUSINESS PANEL to try to transfer funds.

6. While you are on the lot, you can click on seating to assign lap dancing spots, and you can assign whoring rooms by locking the doors for "Escort business only." Important, make sure the doors are facing out (i.e., the arrow when placing the door points out of the room), or they will not work.

 

Once you've done all that, all you need to do is wait around for the opening hour to hit, and everyone should show up. Again, similar to above, you cannot force it open by clicking "Open" on the Business Panel. When it comes to strip clubs, you should ignore that panel entirely, and never try to use it for anything.
