Lanterns of Skyrim Question

Hi Guys!

 

I just wanna ask some questions about that said mod in my title

 

I'm trying to add this mod since the nights in my game are so dark and i need these lanterns to make it better at traveling at nights.

 

I have realvision enb option a full

 

COT 3.1

RLO

Supreme Storms

COT Weather Patch with Nights on LVL 3

 

So my question is are the lantern in nights okay with these mods without making them too bright?

 

since mannygt has retired already i use one of the presets in the description that he link that is compatible with COT 3.1

 

seems it's only for night level 8 or something but i only have night level 3 from the COT weather patch...

 

 

so anyone here has the same mods like me can you guys help me out here which is the best preset to use without the lanterns making the nights too bright?

It's okay, it works. 
You can adjust the settings of fires and lighting objects during nighttime with PointLightingIntensityNight in enbseries. There's also IntensityNight for fire in the [Fire] section of your enbseries.

Also, Lantern of Skyrim adds a relatively small amount of lanterns, you won't risk finding spots suddenly lit like Paris during Christmas anyway.

if dnt like try also claralux, sometimes i use claralux with somber enb, and belive someber goes sometimes really dark if not in a build.

I  wouldn't advise going anywhere near Claralux personally, it's not had an update in a very long time and even when it was it used to give me all sorts of headaches. 

 

LoS only provides pools of light on highways and streets, it's not like the overall ambient light suddenly makes everything look like a shopping mall, it's quite subtle really. In my humble opinion the good folk of Skyrim wouldn't dare leave their houses if not for some decent street lighting, not with all the bandits,werewolves and master vampires about. 

 

And for that final bit of lore friendliness I recommend the lantern caretaker mod.
