Night Visitor Mod BQ V

has anyone had a night visitor arrive and attempt to target a pet??? that just happened to me, one of the npcs assigned as a VN snuck onto the lot after 11pm and the notification said they were targeting my sim's pet dog. they snuck up to the dog and then just stood there idling. i dont have devious desires or any beastiality mods/animations (nor do i want to), so this was very surprising. i guess since the game recognises animals as "sims" too, and the mod targeted the family dog lmao. in order to see what was going on i entered "pets.toggle_selectable_pets" into the cheat console (allows you to select and play as/control household pets) and saw that it had the tense moodlets associated with a VN; "what was that noise?", "something is coming", etc. 

 

so far since downloading this mod and assigning multiple VNs, i have had 2 VN attempts on my played household of 1 adult male and his teen daughter sim, both straight: the first one was a straight elderly male VN npc who arrived to target the adult male in my household for some reason, and the second attempt was the one targeting the dog. what setting do i need to adjust to ensure that VNs target female sims? i already have the "Allow teen sex" setting enabled in wicked whims so is there a feature in your mod blocking teen sims from being targeted? i had assumed the girl in this household would be the only viable target but so far only her dad and the dog have been attacked lol. you should think about adding a trait that prevents a sim from being selected as a target at all, maybe a hidden trait or a reward trait or something. the VN should also take into account their own sexuality when picking a target, because i know for a fact that the first elderly male VN was a straight sim, so it made no sense for him to target the male in the household. i had even added the VN trait to the father in this played household thinking it would prevent him from being picked as a victim but no, apparently VNs can attack other VNs. hopefully in the next session it will work better lol, thanks for making the mod anyway.

 

also, will it be possible in future to play as the VN and break into other households at night (preferably with the "break-in" feature from the For Rent expansion)? and will it be possible in future for other sims to notice the attack in progress and try to intervene/save the victim, like other family members seeing the VN sneaking in and beating them up or a household pet dog or cat attacking the VN and chasing them away to protect a household member? i think these would add a lot of storytelling value to the mod.

Sounds interesting, But I couldn't find a way to add the VN trait nowhere in the game, nor in WW traits nor via MCCC

The traits have to be added via the mods menu which can be accessed using the command listed in his post.  I had issues getting the fights started with MCC, without MCC things play out fine.  It may be the alien settings I set in MCC so I'll try default settings tomorrow but if MCC cancels out the mod, the mod is not worth using if MCC can't be in play.

Se eu ativo a geração automática , ele aparece todos os dias , eu não queria todos os dias queria algo mais natural, de vez em quando, vc poderia adicionar uma porcentagem pra ele aparecer com menos frequência.

The hypocrisy kills me. They all, rape is wrong and bad, yet there is incest, an elderly man can bed a teen, you can kidnap and turn people into slaves and dolls with no free will of their own. You can bound someone to another by owing them money and turning tricks to pay them back, Yet rape is bad. You can take drugs, drug someone to have sex with them, ,ods for murder and mayhem. Many people have trouble separating what is real from what is just an element of interaction in a game.

Next, I bet there's going to be more posts about delays or breaking glitches probably for you all using this mod.
Personally MCC isn't worth it. Ever since the pearl clutchers/thought police, worried about their Patreons, have been in charge there, it's been one thing after another (and I am not talking about just controversial sex mods here, other vanilla modders have been/are targeted as well, and coming from Sims 2 and 3, the Sims 4 community is down right exhausting), their community is just toxic as a whole so anyone they decided to brand, they ban, often lie/exaggerate about, and start witchhunts on. 
So making a controversial R sex mod? Yeah, new target acquired.

The only reason I have MCC is because of being able to apply traits and making family connections you can't in CAS and to cheat needs. If i could find a mod that did those things, i wouldnt need MCC and all its error messages. Cause honestly my game runs better without it.

Cheat UI is easy for cheating needs
appyling traits I've always just shift clicked on a sim with "TestingCheats True" and clicked Sim info in that pie menu you can set skills, traits and College degrees.
I have MCC as well but I mostly got it cause it was so recommended, not sure If I've ever actually used it outside of pasting appearances over pre existing Sims.

They are morons, this mod is basically an AI sim with cheats enabled lol. Its that barebones...

Great mod but been too long since any updates here and that always worries me about the stability of the mod, especially as the game updates, and ive downloaded Mods before that never had another free update and about broke my game. I don't pay for mods, as i've already paid enough for the games. Just going to have to uninstall it and hope in the future there is an update here or somewhere.

Yes, that's right. They're not in STBL. Unfortunately, those have to be translated with code, but I prepared a .py file so you can translate it.

No, it's not normal. The problem is that I used a homemade, manual system that told the Sim to get close to the target so they'd be in range and the fight would start. Then, after taking the game apart, I realized they use Mixer, and yes, that's it. The current version is the one on Patreon, and it works perfectly for everyone.
I've already been asked for something for the animations. The closest I can come is a list. I think you can make lists with WW; I've never tried it, but maybe everyone could make their own list for female "VN" and male "VN." I'd have to see how they're named, and you could use those names... well, it's a crazy idea, and I don't even know if it would work.

My mod is currently a hybrid between stbl and .py. What I've done now is create \Mods\BQ_NightVisitor\Scripts\visitante_mod\strings.py. You can modify it and add any language you want; the only thing is that I think you have to replace the existing one. I'll see if I can do something so that only this is added.
