Can we not use this update on previous versions like 1.124? I refuse to update anymore and I love this mod but I think it doesn't work with my version even though WW and Nisa do.

I don't think so, because there was an update that changed some things about spawns and traits. You'd have to update your game to a newer version.

Can the Dev make a Clean and Clear way to understand how to use this mod cause right now its just a mess of broken English or whatever for instructions to start and use this mod that it makes it pointless to even try if you cant understand what even to do correctly.

Hi, it seems like the description as well as the main image for the mod have been made with AI. I feel like I have to ask then, did you use AI in coding the mod as well?

Will this mod work around on the gender too if the thief is female ? Or does this mod works only strict if the trait is given to a male thief only

it has settings to change to visitors gender and preference. i think in the home section. i mess with the preference since i switch between playing a guy or a girl.

What’s wrong with generating images using AI?
I also created the images for HomeLacter, and I notice there’s always some whiner (probably an "artist") making passive-aggressive comments just because the image is AI-generated instead of being a silly screenshot or something edited by hand in Photoshop or Krita :P
I also used AI to translate and polish my post because I DON'T SPEAK ENGLISH.
I SPEAK SPANISH.
If you’d prefer it to sound more natural and be written by me personally, I can do that—but in Spanish. That way, we can all stop using English.

So... are you asking if you can make mods using AI?
Yes, you can do anything with AI, but you need a good one—specifically, a paid version.
You also need a basic foundation in game development to understand how things work. Generally speaking, all games are built the same way.
You have to handle the packaging manually; AI doesn't do animation or create pornographic content.
However, it is a great tool for finding usable files or functions within the game.
If you manage to decompile the game, AI can also help you with programming (though it leaves behind a lot of messy code that you'll have to clean up later).

And even if you aren't a game developer, you can still do it—it will just take much longer, since you'll need to learn a lot of fundamental concepts.

Yes, I can do that. The mod wasn't that complex before, but I think we've reached a more advanced stage where we *will* need a wiki—maybe?

people on reddit have hurt their butts over this mod and are reporting it.

I don't know what that means. But I don't have Reddit.
I only upload my mod to Patreon and here on LL.
You've got me baffled :O

I just wanted to say that if possible, I think it would be cool to be able mark a specific sim in an active household to be the only victim. Like if you only assign the night visitor trait to one NPC and the one sim, you can play out like a stalking/obsession sort of story.

Yes, it's possible. I need to think carefully about how to do it. But it's something many people have asked me for, and I understand why.

how long till this mysteriously stops working like a certain other mod given the content inside?

No one intentionally broke my mod.
Sometimes function names change, or updates alter certain things.
I was late uploading this version, but not because "someone" intentionally broke anything. I was in the middle of a rather heavy workload and couldn't release an update where things were only half-functional; I needed to reach a stable, reasonably playable point.
Turbodrive never had an issue with me or the things I develop. He never told me that what I was doing bothered him; he even helped me out with GeometryStages once.
I have no issues with MCCC, and they never did anything on purpose to break anything. I use MCCC alongside my mod, and everything works wonderfully.
The only people I’ve had trouble with are a couple of DD fans who said nasty, negative, and senseless things to me.
But I don't think either of them was CN or sent by him.
I think they were just fans—and you know how fans can be.

So I'm not much of a beta tester, so I waited until now to try this out. I like the potential. A few comments:

1. It's not very intuitive. Took me forever to figure out how to change the settings (your post implies you click on "any sim" but you actually have to click on a computer, and instead of the NV icon, there's a gear icon labelled "Configuration").

2. Played as victim: she was asleep when it happened. NV came over. As soon as he entered the house, they were having sex in the bed. No argument. No fight.

3. Played as the NV: he went to the park. Scouted one girl. She kept staying in public areas, so he decided to attack another girl alone in the bathroom. Halfway there, they started having sex in the middle of the public area between them. Again, no argument, no fight. Just straight banging.

4. For the most part, things seem to work as they should. I had no errors or exceptions.

5. My first victim got the positive "sex with a hottie" moodlet after she was raped, which felt incongruous. Luckily, your moodlets overpowered it most of the time, but it still felt weird.

6. I still haven't figured out how these complex scenarios in the victim's home are supposed to happen. Does my NV sim just travel there? Is there a special interaction in teh pie menu after a certain hour, or a certain skill level?

A few extra notes I'm sure are purely personal to me and my play style:

1. If I'm going to have this on in the background, then I need a visitation chance well below 10%. Maybe 1%. If 10% is the lowest I can go, I'll probably have to switch it off, and just force a visit when I need it for story purposes.

2. I really don't think I'll enjoy playing a serial rapist, but I do think playing a victim has tons of potential. I'd love to see that fleshed out even more (it's already very good, I'm just saying I'd like it to continue to be a focus).

3. I'm not sure how this would even be possible in the framework you're building, but man would it be great for story purposes if these "attacks" could somehow be open to other situations besides someone with the NV trait. For example, maybe two sims are best friends, and he finds her Extremely Attractive, but they are not in any sort of relationship, and he can't help himself. Or maybe two sims are drinking together and one of them gets too grabby and goes too far. I.e., other situations besides just a creepy serial rapist following people at the park or invading homes.

Grand summary: man, really great work so far. I really did not think a rape mod would fit into my gameplay. When I need questionable consent for my stories, I can just fake it with the right animations and pose packs. But the way you are going, I think this could be deep enough to fill that gap. My suggestions and comments above notwithstanding, this is already a very excellent mod so far. Well done.

I have the same problem—when the NPC arrives at the house, it skips straight to the scene; there’s no fight or anything.

None of the update changes showed up here—the NPC didn’t peek through the window or wait for the timer to run out, and all the settings are showing up on the computer as active.

I tried enabling the NPC several times to test it, and it kept skipping the scene and so on.
