Need help, game keeps CTD on me whenever a dog animation tries to start.

Sorry for my bad English, but I'm having consistent CTD issue. Whenever some dog/wolf animations is triggered, Skyrim will without fail CTD. What's strange is that only some dog/wolf animations have this problem, not all of them. Attached a crash log, if anyone can tell me what is causing and/or how to fix it would be much appreciated.

This crash was indirectly caused by OAR.

Same issue as here.

Most likely the same issue as here.

The TL;DR is: Either patch OAR to not swap animations when the game engine clearly can't handle it, or disable OAR rules until the problem goes away. I would start with the most noisy and prominent rules.

Thanks for the fast reply, but I have no idea how to do either of those things. If it's not too much trouble, could you please tell me what are OAR rules and how to disable them?

That's mentioned in OAR's mod description.

Okay, I had a read, I think I know what to do, I'll have to go through some trial and error, thanks for everything.

Hey, sorry to bother you again, but after lots of trial and error, still having the same CTD issue, I disabled OAR entirely to see what would happen and yeah, CTD still happens, not sure if OAR is the cause. I attached the new crashlog, please have a look.

It was not since the crash signature didn't change, yet the OAR dll is missing from the callstack.

It's having issues with the RootBehaviorGraph "0_Master.hkb", project name "DefaultFemale" currently used by form id 0x7 reference id 0x14 "Eliza". Rebuild your behaviour files with FNIS. Make sure there is no warnings or errors in it's output. If the output is clear and it's still crashing, start removing behaviour modifying mods.

If you were already using FNIS, then you could also try Pandora, without removing mods. Keep in mind that Pandora is WIP and has it's own Havok and behaviour file related CTDs. Disabling the XPMSE Pandora patch fixes some of these.

I use FNIS+Nemesis, I use Nemesis for my MCO combat mods. maybe Nemesis is the problem? Is it safe to switch to Pandora?

check your Sexlab Animation packages. OAnimationReplacer is most of the time a false alarm for that kind of issue.

What you describe sounds for me more like an issue in some of the Animation behaviors for sexlab.

I had a smiliar issue and also hunted OpenAnimation Replacer stuff first.

I would recommend: disable all SLAL or SLAB packages. Clean state (run Pandora etc.)

Enable step by step the packages.

In the Sexlab P discord there were ome report of CTDs due this and it was fixed by slowly building up the Animation Registry again. / Finding the 'broken' package. The package was not broken alone, but in combination wiht others lead to CTD. No Idea why.

See the last paragraph in my previous post. If you want absolutely stability, your only option is FNIS only.

I tried only use FNIS to build behavior patch, most animations working again but still a few would cause CTD with the same "0_Master.hkb" error in the crashlog.

Right, my bad, I just realized after reading more carefully.

It's all good, any help is appreciated, thank you regardless.

I think you are right, I uninstall most SLAL animations, whatever's left works perfectly, even with Pandora. I will reinstall them bit by bit tomorrow and see what happens then report back. I'm very sleep deprived right now...

EDIT: Yep, rebuilding animation registry one mod at a time did fix the issue, no more CTD, everything just works, at least for now. Only difference is that I have less animation installed this time, so it might have been an animation limit issue or something, can't really say since I know nothing about this kind of stuff. Anyway, problem solved, thanks to everyone for the help.
