Farm98765 Posted April 1 Posted April 1 so, I've kind of been getting things working? I'm slowly getting better at modding, maybe, but i'm running into a few issues I'm curious about. Here's the log from FNIS. What does --Warning: Generator V7.6 and FNISBase V7.4.5 have different versions-- mean? I do also have the animation crash limit thing installed, i just haven't changed that calculation (is that a big deal or really not the worst thing here?). The Kom animation thing is kind of odd, too. Both with and without the mod. Correct versions and all, i think. KomAnims : Some of these animation packs are less frequently used, and seem to be ports from NSFW animations for other games that have been pushed into FNIS format. So effectively translation errors between entirely different games. If you're not t-posing, and other animations are working, then FNIS has managed to get other animations working and may have got the special animations working - it is saying warning rather than error. my usual advice would be for people to have USSEP and Alternate Start and SL Eager NPCs installed - if you start a new character, you can skip the helgen cut scene, and have your character start in a quiet cell before moving to whiterun. If I can walk/run around whiterun, people and animals are animated, and I can use SL Eager NPCs to trigger a solo animation, then I'm willing to start a play through. Your difficulty is that the KomAnim may be deeper into specific quests, so difficult to check until you get there. You may have to be ready that you are 10+ hours into a new character, and find that you have to abandon a specific quest that uses the animations with warnings. Options range from CTD, to getting stuck, to the irritation of the key animation that has been anticipated just not playing.

So i did some this or that messing around and, well, it crashes during the loading screen when starting a new game. Somewhere between alternative start and messing with another file, it just borked
