brown66 Posted March 28 Posted March 28 For the two and a half years I've been playing Starfield, I've always had problems adjusting the game's brightness and contrast, even when using HDR. A few days ago, in a PCWORLD YouTube video discussing the new DLSS 5, someone knowledgeable about game technical components said there was something wrong with Starfield's lighting system. Today I was again adjusting the brightness, contrast, and HDR when I decided to do something "crazy" – adjust the game's brightness in the opposite direction to what Bethesda recommends. And, bang! Now I finally have the game's lighting and shadow areas as I think they should be. Watch the video, where I show how I adjusted the brightness in the opposite direction to what the game menus say. If I'm wrong, don't hesitate to tell me, but please tell me why I'm wrong. Attention! This video is from my YouTube channel, but I don't earn (and won't earn) money from it. Actually, I don't think anyone should make money from YouTube, but that's a whole other conversation. https://youtu.be/bZufXsLb3WQ
sen4mi Posted March 31 Posted March 31 Hmm.... I have not played starfield for a bit, so I have a couple questions: Do you have any mods installed for this? Which video card do you use? I am not sure if these matter, but they might?
