That mod is really helpful, although iirc it fixes the issue as soon as it is in game, so if anyone had the same issue, just take it out before going to uni and then just put it back 😘

I'll reply here the same message I replied the last time. I've decompiled the mod looking for answers in the past, and didn't find anything specific, but I had my conclusions:

 

Destrospean attaches to world load and world quit and installs repeating alarms to patch Law Enforcement/Medical state.

 

On OnWorldQuit, its cleanup does something equivalent to "iterating" every SimDescription that still had an alarm handle and calls RemoveAlarm via CreatedSim without verifying that CreatedSim is non‑null.

 

During Sims 3 transitions, especially subworld or travel scenarios (like University traveling), or returning to the main menu, the engine often has SimDescription instances whose CreatedSim is null (inactive households, unfinished spawn, a lot of mixed up situations).

 

Assuming a live Sim exists in that phase is potentially unsafe for a mod to act in that way.

 

@umrol if you have any scriptError.XML attach them here, I can try looking at them again. Also: what version of KW are you playing right now?

 

Problem with Destro's mod is still unknown and I was pretty unable to identify it, but I can try again

Sooo i've been at it for a few days now .. .hehehe.  and ive got two things ?  one small i can't seem to get my sims full body cum moodlet (eache part can get it just not full like previous version??? ) still working on it tho... maybe its me again.   :)   MAJOR ONE"... i get multiples pregnancies ?!? like sim is pregnant while still having the fertility alert. so she get re-pregnant. and goes into labor for once, get stuck in hosptital because pregnant moodlet isnt going away and pop a another baby next day, and sometimes just stay bugged in labor... one has been at it for a whole week. no more pregnant moodlet, no more belly stilll randomly stop all actions to go in labor every hour... making the whole town panick ...  no baby was ever born. she's still at it. (ii could hard reset her i guess but im having fun with the townies... )  XD ...

It looks like you bugged out the menstrual phases and pregnancies 😂 

 

In latest versions, the "Fertile" moodlet is supposed to be triggering only in the Ovulatory phase, so in KW "Pregnancy" state it usually disappears by itself, with a cleanup or natural ending.

 

Also, it vaguely looks like every pregnancy that was buffering and was previously blocked by EA or something else, just unlocked all together once you installed Portrait Panel along with the other mods 😂 

 

This could probably be enhanced by KW itself without the need of external mods - the issue with this, aside from coding it, designing it and testing it deeply - is that bypassing and overriding this EA limits may be unstable and might impact performances as well (and as of now I'm still working about keeping KW as light and compatible as possible)

 

I may think about this in the future - but as of now it's a little out of scope!

 

I hope you can find a way out of that mess!!

I've imported it and then implemented "Journal Settings" so that you can FINALLY disable the unwanted categories 😂 AND a stage counter alongside the Most Frequent Partner - it's the same value used to calculate the score itself (now exposed).

 

I've also made some fixes to "Enable Male Pubic Hairs" (hopefully working) and... I actually added a new "Kinky Extended CAS" in Miscellaneous people can finally use without relying on other mods, that looks fully compatible with Master Controller and Integration module. It's experimental and covered by a toggle in case something goes wrong - once enabled, a new "CAS..." interaction in "Kinky World..." pie menu is available to use and edit Nude outfits, with tattoos and pubic hairs as well - for females too! No more underwear previews :classic_laugh:

 

Here's BETA18 BETA19 BETA20 BETA22 BETA23 ready to test for anyone's wanting to try it out.

 

At this point 452 is actually almost ready - and pretty huge compared to 451 😂 I think I'll post it officially very soon!

 

EDIT: If you want, you can translate the remaining strings in Korean :) And actually a lot of languages haven't been updated from a while! I hope translator will contribute 🤞 

 

EDIT 2: Being very experimental, Kinky CAS might not always work properly and is my first attempt - if there are things to fix, please just report them in detail (if anyone's trying it)!

 

EDIT 3: It is "known" that dresser and stylist from pie menu still don't show the naked category, only the outfit while entering (because I'm working on it) On BETA20 Dresser and Stylist work as well :D In any case it's still a little optional add-on (so it's not meant to replace anything)

 

EDIT 4: Fixed some bugs for BETA22 related to Kinky CAS! - And added new features for 23!

This particular "Naked" cannot be easily localized in M/F because it's an outfit category used in Kinky CAS that's valid for everyone. Localizing it in M/F makes the whole CAS read the Sim gender and can be fragile - not counting you should test it for when you actually change a gender in CAS.

 

As of now, it would be better a plural or a slash , like "Nus" or "Nu/a"

 

Let me know which variant you'd like for this, so I'll correct it and republish with working versions of Dresser and Stylist!

 

EDIT: In the meantime I replaced it with "Nus" :) Hoping that it will be fine, and updated the link in my latest comment! Thanks again, so much, for your translation!!

Hi, for the first time I´m testing the Menstruation option.

I like it, I would like to suggest an addition. I wonder if beside the tampon and pads, something can be added for the pain (example Crampocalypse).. Ibuprofen or any s like that.
It can be the same item as the pills color changed.

Hi dude! This is pretty strange: it means the mod is not working nor loading properly.

 

It may be a conflict with other critical mods (you may have ScriptErrors.XML in your Documents folder, possibly) or eventually a bad installation - for which is recommended to delete every ONIKI_* file you have in your Mods folder and reinstall the mod again pasting the entire folder in the ZIP!

 

What version are you using? It's pretty much likely that in any case you may solve reinstalling the mod.

 

And it's also important to delete scriptCache.package while updating between mod versions!

Nice suggestion. I actually never added any physical object to Sims3 in my life, inside a package. It would be the first time.

 

But I may try that in the future. In the meantime I could find a way to re-use other objects or check deeper to understand if something is already there.

Yes I just found the mod to not be working at all. Kinky moodlets are there still. But there no "Kinky Injecting" popup at the start when a save is loaded, "Kinky" menu when clicking on a sim is now also no longer there.
I updated from version 444. I installed your latest version by replacing all Oniki files with yours in package folder, so yes I did unzip them.
I also deleted scrip tcache. There're script errors being generated in document folder that are related to kinky world.
I been trying to make this work by starting new saves, removing nraas,... none is working so far.

Hi there! I've uninstalled the mod since last time I reported the issue to you :)
But during my extensive testing to rat out the culprit, I figured out it was the mod causing the issue, just like umrol did. The mod still hasn't been updated (just checked it on MTS), and so I think nothing has changed.

I don't know what this could be - the mod works in every variant. I even tried creating a new save and then enabling the mod to be sure, and everything works fine.

 

If you want, you can ZIP your Mods folder and send it out to me, so I can have a look at what's conflicting eventually, even in private.

 

But this is 99,99% a conflict issue or a bad installation. Also, if you can, it's recommended that you send me out the ScriptErrors as well: withtout them, I can't know that's conflicting or installed in the wrong way :/

Thanks for the info. I don't get any error logs for some reason. I'm currently on Beta13. So far I guess it's just better to leave Destrospean's mod alone :) There was a previous version tho that doesn't do its thing all the time, only has an option to fix career on the affected sim when the problem occures.

 

I also found a couple of other bugs (or features?) 

 

First, glory hole can be used only by a male/female pair of sims. (gay culture appropriation lol) When men try to join they just turn around and leave. Then they try again and fail. I've seen some crowds around toilets because of that :D So far I noticed that male sims NEVER sit on the toilet when using glory hole stall. I haven't tested it a lot, so maybe it's not true. Btw also no scripterror xmls for this issue

 

Another thing, it's probably on purpose, but weirds me out. Sims have gender preference change from TV. First, bi sims pretty much only watch gay/lesbian porn channels. And their gender preference grows towards men, if the sim is male, or women if the sim is female. I tested it today with two bi sims. Straight channel changes nothing. Lesbian channel changed a woman from 50m/50f to 50m/57f for 10 in-game munutes and did nothing for a man. Again, gay porn shifted a guy towards guys by 7 points in 10 minutes. Did nothing for the lady obviously :D I forgot to check straight ppl, but iirc they also get more love for their preferred gender lol 

It doesn't change anything meaningfully, but still I feel like none of this makes any sense? I always make everyone bi, so Kinky One being completely neglected is sad lol

I checked by the code both Sim_SleepOnCouch.cs and Couch_SleepOnCouch.cs and they look adding both Sleep and Relaxing motive increase.

 

I just tried it right now (452 BETA22) and it's working fine. I think this may depend about some mods you might have that are editing or overriding sleep and sleep interactions (potentially) or maybe you could try reinstalling the mod in a clean way deleting scriptCache as well!

 

If you didn't do that, use BETA22 directly. I've never seen this bug and both in EA Autonomy and KW Autonomy, Sleep On Couch works fine to me!

I'm using the BETA22. Except for the ctrl+E/K/Q shortcut keys, the other keys don’t seem to work. And the crtl+Q feel unresponsive,  sometimes I have to press it several times before it switches to the next pose. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m using a laptop.

Also, after playing for a while, the game sometimes randomly freezes then I have to quit, but it didn’t happen in previous versions.

Hi.

 

There are not many others actually, there's just F5 to save the game and CTRL + K to open Kinky Settings menu.

 

The other ones are for Debug Move and depend from normal keyboard arrows and the page up and down keys to move forward/backward (and CTRL + Enter to enter move value)

 

CTRL + Q has always been "unresponsive" by design, because it follows the same logic for the pie menu interaction ("Next stage") - it doesn't switch instantly, it has to end the current loop of animations you're playing. You can try it by the pie menu and will be the same thing. It can be slow especially if your loop has already entered the first half of its total time.

 

In my case, every shortcut works by the way. You can actually change them yourself if you want, especially if your laptop doesn't have proper pageUP/DOWN keys, opening ONIKI_KinkySettings.package with S3PE and then the TRIG files with notepad:

Keep in mind that if you have other mods that override the same combination of keys for other triggers, they could not work.

 

EDIT: Shortcuts of "DebugMove" work only if you have Debug Interactions enabled in Miscellaneous.

 

I don't know what to say about random freezes anyway, they can depend from so many things, and reporting it like this doesn't allow me to help you :/ 

 

Also because BETA22 has just more code on the Kinky CAS that you can enable/disable and nothing related to potential freezes during gameplay.

Hey everyone!

 

After some time, I thought it was the case to officially publish the "magical" Build 452.

 

I thought I could stop pretty “easily” for a while, but instead, I've found A LOT of things I would have wanted to bring and patch in Kinky World, for anyone to experience.

 

So:

 

Build 452 0.9.8

 

What changes?

 

A lot! As always :D This time, possibly even better. Let's start!

 

 

1. EA Autonomy Manager

 

This is my biggest change so far to Kinky World. What this new toggle does in Miscellaneous, is restoring EA's original autonomy to Kinky World mod, so that there's no separate "KWAutonomyManager" that can introduce strange behaviors, repetitive interactions, Sims always staying at home, load on CPUs for managing two separate autonomy, more creative orchestration by EA selecting both EA's and KW's interactions completely by itself, etc.

 

Also, given Sims are managed by EA, there's no risk of them dying due to unfulfilled needs.

 

After beta testing this myself and with the help of all of my pals here who beta tested with me, I can conclude that EA's autonomy works perfectly with KW, even in systems like School, Brothel, and such.

 

So I've set this toggle default ON by the KinkyTuning.package that is in the main ZIP file.

If you still want to use the KW Autonomy Manager, you can still go in Miscellaneous and disable the toggle, save, and reload your save again (and viceversa if you enable it).

 

Or, in the KinkyTuning.package you can now find a separate record to tune this thing, in "Main.XML" you can edit with S3PE:

In my opinion, having EA's autonomy back is very precious, especially considering it perfectly integrates Situations, Services, and WooHoo. The only thing you may experience from time to time, is that rarely, WooHooSequences could stop earlier, because EA decides that there's a reason for exiting WooHoo for one or more involved Sims.

 

This can be fixed, but as of now it's not annoying and makes the thing pretty realistic (in my opinion), also because it doesn’t almost happen.

 

 

2. New Kinky CAS to edit nude outfits!

 

I know that there are many mods to actually do this, but as you may know, I’m pretty radical and usually love to play with the least possible mods. When possible, I imagined a way to simply edit the nude outfit and customize CAS my own way. So I didi t – and it results in being perfectly compatible with Master Controller, Integration and possibly XCAS by CMAR.

Once enabled, it gives anyone new interactions in pie menu, under “Kinky World…” > “CAS…”, where you can enter different CAS instances and edit your nude outfit. You also have many toggle to customize your experience (where it’s recommended to leave every toggle at its default).

Huge thanks to @ptsdfromhome that offered a huge help and support to make this feature as “perfect” as it is today (it was very bugged at first!!)

 

 

3. Animation Packages

 

Several fixes have been made to animation packages!

- A broken package now doesn't imply that the mod stops loading breaking it completely as it's been reported multiple times - the mod will now keep loading, reporting you which packages are broken and are interfering with the mod!

 

- Every hardcodedly known animation package is now recognized and detected as soon as you enter your save, any save! No more need for typing in the majority of animation packages! And the list can be updated as well with time. Before this modification, animation packages would have "detected" only on fresh saves, not on existing ones.

 

- There are new features in the "Packages" menu! You can now "Check known packages" to quickly scan the known resource keys for animation packages that are hardcoded in the mod (huge list), to quickly add them if they are missing. Redundant if you think about what I said above, but still very useful! You now also have "Clean missing packages": it deletes from your list the packages that are not in your Mods folder anymore, but still saved/serialized in your settings, so that they won't produce errors in KWErrorLog and when you try to Import your settings in another save with missing packages

 

 

4. OutfitManager and performances

 

Huge changes here!

 

I've found out that in a typical gameplay, most of the lags would come out of the OutfitManager constantly scanning Sims and "processing them", even when no changes were applied. And this still can be improved!

 

One thing in particular looked very heavy: refreshing Sims body watching the arousal value, to make an erection appear faster than it could have. This had a huge cost on performances and such a small gain on user experience.

 

It has been patched, so now the OutfitManager is generally more lighter. "OutfitManager real time" in Miscellaneous is also responsible for a lot of heavy load, and it's about the same stuff related to arousal and erections, mainlySo it has been turned OFF by default, but you can enable it whenever you want. If you still have it on in your save, it's recommended to turn it OFF for performances!

 

Along with that, please consider changing the "SimData Refreshing (Update tick)" to the maximum level, that is 1125. It's the amount of tick the mod keeps track of, to update/refresh data in SimData for every Sim, and having it to its maximum level increases performances and doesn't produce any particularly visible changes to your gameplay (at least not that I’ve noticed).

 

 

5. Enable male pubic hair (and shaving)

 

This was missing from a long time and for no clear reason to me.

 

There are resource keys to be used for male pubic hairs in "optional_addons", along with the female ones, that the mod detects and recognizes by the code, but every part of the code that was supposed to use it was commented, intentionally to not make them use to males and I don't know why.

 

So, in General Settings > Pubic Hairs, you can now enable separately male pubic hairs as well!

 

Aligned to what happens with the main toggle (typically for females) now it will ask the user if they want to refresh every Sim now or not and apply pubic hairs. If the toggle’s ON, male Sims will have the “Shave” interaction as well!

NOTE: The shave interaction has been patched and now removes ANY body hair (stomach) from ANY outfit, and not only 1 specific resource ID from every outfit. This was necessary for mods (including Kinky CAS) that allows to edit specific outfits with different physical/appearance properties, including different body hairs.

 

 

6. Journal Settings

 

On great request (mainly from @Dustercoat0321 😂) Journal field visibility has been made into separate toggles so anyone can customize what they want their journal to show individually:

It's inside Global Settings. Also, with this adding, "Most Frequent Partner" now shows a total stage counter next to it (that is typically used to show that partner as the most frequent).

 

 

7. Undress shoes (Barefoot)

 

This setting has been fixed as well! It was reported to me that even with the Barefoot option OFF, many Sims would just start woohooing removing their shoes.

 

This was caused by some confused code logic I've found in the UndressShoes option: now it is supposed to make Sims keep shoes on on every applicable stage, and also while using the toilet!

 

 

8. KW Traits Discoverability

 

There were a lot of issues with Kinky Traits not properly discoverable through social interactions.

 

This has been patched correctly: now every Sim trait is actually discoverable by property/logic, and it uses KW friendly social interactions, like "Share Kinky Secrets", "Chitchat", "Kinky Talk"

 

These interactions now have a base chance of 100% of making you discover the other Sim traits, without particular cooldowns or rules. 

Inside "Interactions tuning" you can still set your own chance of discoverability:

9. KW Services

 

Many of them have been patched for several reason.

 

KW used to delete every service at runtime when it loaded, destroying pools as well and default EA's NPCs for Services. Now this doesn't happen anymore, so KW is more friendly towards EA's defaults

 

Also, things like Maid and Pizza Delivery have been added and/or patched because they were missing from the UI or not working despite having a toggle.

KW Services have also been moved into their own container menu inside "LoversLab":

10. KW BedSleep and Kinky Dreaming

 

This has been reported many times as making Sims loop into sleeping, needing a reset to fix them, and happened for multiple reasons.

 

Hopefully, this now works as expected, the mod should always apply proper X and Y roles and animations in the state machine when it starts, without the need of further adjustments.

 

If you still experience issue with this, you can try enabling "Miscellaneous logging" into "Logging features" and then send it out to me!

Also: "Kinky Dreaming Notifications" has been added! You can now have the typical Kinky Sleep/Dream experience without the notifications about dream types:

11. Interactions Tuning

 

This menu was a little outdated, while is very helpful to use. It allows users to tune up the autonomy usage (and other parameters) for every interaction.

 

It has now been updated so that it has a column to make the associated interaction more comprehensible than just having the code/definition technical name.

 

It's very useful to disable specific interactions autonomy, like "Talk about prostitution", "Dare to remove panties" or whatever annoys you the most!

It has also been moved to a separate container in Miscellaneous named "Interaction Settings" where you can find every tunability option regarding interactions, so other pertinent stuff has been moved here, including "Autonomous Go Home Interaction".

Inside this container, you can find a shortcut as well to enable/disable things like "Add drug autonomous interaction" (used by Sims to drug a drink, for example) that is now default OFF.

 

 

12. Reading books

 

This wasn't working from such a long time! It has now been fixed: now, for reading books, the Mod properly replaces the EA interaction/singleton, so that when you read books you can experience custom KW interactions as well!

 

Like the "Join" path you have in the pie menu when a Sim is reading a book on the towel, by the beach, to start the Massage WooHoo

 

 

13. Brothel minor fixes  

 

Minor fixes to the Brothel have been made, considering Sims could still start in loop the "Start whoring" interaction if they were on the Brothel lot, on their Free Time.

 

This was also keeping the OutfitManager busy every 2 seconds, spamming also messages like "OutfitManager is busy!" that now should technically not appear anymore!

 

 

14. Kraken Attacks

 

This wasn't working properly as well, given the cooldown for attacks on the same Sim was a little broken and could happen very frequently.

 

Now, the mod properly respects the cooldown for attacks on the same Sims, that is defined in the Kraken.XML in KinkyTuning, that is default 12 Sim hours (unchanged)!

 

Kraken has also been generally fixed because from time to time, it could produce ScriptErrors, but mainly when you'd reset your Sims while animations were going on.

 

 

15. Other fixes

 

- Many other things have been fixed, among ScriptErrors, NPCs that were anomalously removed from the spawn menu, world quit not properly handling keyboard shortcuts, Horse Breeder reward trait not working properly, many STBL strings that were still missing, and a lot of other boring stuff you can find in the changelog once I upload it.

 

NOTE: 2 shortcuts have been changed because they would interfere with the FreeCam mode (TAB) while WooHooing, e.g. E and Q keys that have been transformed into CTRL + E and CTRL + Q, that are more control friendly  You can still change them with S3PE if you want, editing the TRIG files with a notepad!

 

 

There’s probably more that I’m forgetting here but… I hope you can enjoy build 452 😊

 

I'll shortly upload the ZIP file and as soon as I can, the changelog :)
