Can someone help figure this issue out?

The image I’ve attached shows the issue I’m facing.

i’ve downloaded TWB and while nude it works perfectly fine with the sliders I’ve posed while clothed it makes it thinner (or nerfs it)

is there a cause or reason to this? Any help would be appreciated.

When batch building the bodies, are you ensuring you're building TWB conversions of the outfits and not vanilla/cbbe bodies?

It might be complicated to explain but the short gist of it is that I'm using the bodygen feature of making my character the one with the unique body from the rest of the NPC's. I've used a zeroslider by CBBE preset with True Wastelander Body Outfit/Body, which I then used a character preset to override and make my character stand out from the NPC's (without the unique body mod)

I know it is convoluted but I'm trying to make my player character different from other NPC's and using this method and it works when I use the 3BBB version of TWB but not the vanilla one.

If there is another method which could make my character unique from other NPC's I'd happily hear any suggestions.

It might be me but unique player mod has never properly worked for me. Even when I manually edited the folders every character still gets the same body preset as I do. Sometimes that I does work, the textures get all fucked up.

I use "Unique Player and Followers Redux" without problems so I can only say something to this mod. It comes with several epsp. You keep/activate only the one you want to have. In my case "UniqueFemalePlayerAndFollowersDLC.esp". With this mod come several new folders for meshes and textures. The vanilla (or npc) body is stored in:

"....\Fallout 4\Data\meshes\actors\character\characterassets" the body for the player in: "...\Fallout 4\Data\meshes\actors\character\PlayerCharacterAssets. I believe it's the same with "Unique Player". In your case what you can do is to create two presets in "Bodyslide". One for you and one for the rest (or create even more to diversify your followers). Now you need to batch build the outfits you want to wear with morphs enabled with your preset and the other outfits with the preset for npcs. You need to think about who shall wear which clothings as they will get the base shape of the chosen preset and putting them on characters with different shapes might lead to clipping. Afterwards you build the player body as usual. It will be created in the default folder and using it from there would mean everybody has the same base shape. So you copy "femalebody.nif" and "femalebody.tri" from the first a.m. folder to the second. Afterwards build the body for npcs and leave it in default. If you want to have own body shapes for the followers the procedure would be the same except that the followers have their own folders and you always need to think about who shall wear what later in game.

"Unique Player and Followers Redux" also let's you use different skin types on different characters. This can make sense when you want to use a high-res skin on your player, but don't want to have the payload of using it for all characters. In case the additional mesh and texture folders are empty the mod uses what's found in default.

After much tinkering and keeping up with your guide, I discovered that it wasn't a unique player fault at all. Because in meantime I've also had issues with physics not properly working for quite a while and it was a double effort to make both of these work.

I for once tried the CBBE body/outfits to assign my character meshes and it works wonderfully. Both with physics and unique player wise.

the true wasteland body, the body preset mod I primarily used and preferred due to its slider presets seems to be utterly broken in every aspect compared to CBBE.
