swordsman5 Posted March 7 Posted March 7 (edited) This is a copy of a post I put up on the Nexus site, on the Yuriana mod page, but haven't had any response as yet so hopefully someone here might have the answer. I would like to know if there is a mod/spell that would "freeze and NPC in place as the captured wenches are in this mod. (I'm referring to the wenches who are being "trained" by the slavers.) Using Jaxonz Positioner mod it is possible to clone the various torture/bondage poles and devices, and using the " I need you to do something for me" dialogue option, (in EFF) it is possible to get followers to utilise said items, however, if you leave the cell for more than a few game-hours then when you return all the subjects are standing in front of the devices and you have to go around putting them back. I have tried the Pamas Permanant Crucifixes , which has a spell that will force an NPC to use a piece of equipement, however, if it isn't one of the crucifixes then the NPC will get down as soon as you exit the dialogue, if you are using the actual cruxifixes then they will remain but they WILL die within a given time (unless you ensure they are essential.) Irrespective of that this still only gives you 5 positions, the maximum number that the PPC mod can handle The Captured Wenches in the various slaver dens ( Embershard, Lost Knife, etc.) remain in place as long as you wish to leave them suspended there, ( you only get a paltry potion or two for releasing them, I prefer the eye-candy) so ideally I'm looking for something that gets an NPC locked in place in the self-same way, so that they don't have to technically still be followers in "wait" mode, as that still only gives you a total of 100 as that is the maximum number of followers that EFF is capable of handling. CaptainJ03 Posted March 7 Posted March 7 Have you tried I'll take the display model v3? I never had any issues leaving NPCs for days in a contraption. Dunno if there's a max capacity, I never tried more than 5 or 6. 1

I've about 40 odd slaves/whores at present in the Love Slaves training areas and still collecting more!!😄 1

What happens with the wenches in those slaver dens isn’t really a spell or effect, it’s how their AI is set up. They’re assigned an AI package that keeps them using a specific furniture marker or idle marker in the cell. Because of that they stay attached to the device even if you leave the area and come back later. When you use followers with the “I need you to do something” option it’s only a temporary interaction with the furniture, so once the game reloads the cell or their normal AI kicks back in they stop using it and end up standing in front of the device. That’s why things like PPC or similar spells don’t quite replicate the same behavior. Those usually force the animation temporarily, but they don’t give the NPC a permanent package telling them to stay there. The way Captured Wenches does it is basically baked into the NPC’s AI. If you want something similar the closest options are mods that let you assign persistent AI packages or idle markers to NPCs, or doing it through the Creation Kit by giving them a package like UseFurniture or UseIdleMarker with no time limit. That’s basically how those NPCs are kept in place. Console tricks like disabling AI can sometimes hold them there temporarily, but it usually breaks once the cell reloads. So unfortunately there isn’t really a simple spell that does it exactly the same way. 2

Thanks for the heads-up,👍 I'm no modder (well not since ES3, it's got waaaay too complicated for a grey-haired old fart like me!) so I have to try and rely on stuff that's already out there. I've always enjoyed trying to do things with a game that aren't really meant to be done, and if stuff goes T/U I just wipe it clean and start again.... I won't be attempting to bugger about with AI packages as I really don't understand them, in fact I've not even been able to get this latest CS to fire up properly, so I'm pretty certain I'll do more damage than good! 😵💫

Dunno if there's a max capacity, I never tried more than 5 or 6. Tried that but after also loading UtilSSE as required, it just crashed my game. Probably because I use Flowergirls and not Sexlab or OStim, and I've never been able to get the three to work happily together.
