duzellx Posted February 23 Posted February 23 Project Pussy Patch fairly new to helldivers as a friend got me to pic it up, started checking and trying mods myself and searching for stuff when I stumbled on this request Spoiler https://forums.nexusmods.com/topic/13509219-helldivers-2-mod-optional-patch-request-nsfw/ noticed it was odd some mods have the covered gentiles mound and some expose it , thought it wouldn't be to hard to make a new mesh replacer patch to swap, did seem the muscle mommies patched that out as the exposed slit is gone now, was hoping that would be a decent start ...example basically just have this to go on the tutorial seemed somewhat slapped together but functional to follow ...noticed mods are fairly limited so I followed the only real tutorial I could find offhand and did some trial errors and documented the results so far (tools to work with) found only 2 tools to work with (tried both the 4.0 seemed to at least work.. mostly) either blender 4.0 -> tool that dosnt seem to allow for overwrite output ? on nexus or blender 3.0->not 4.0 community tool (git hub) didnt really work on the models but i could pull motion and kept ignoring manual load and pulling direct from game files, very annoying please recall im new at this mod creating /editing for helldivers , so possibly there is a step or issue im not seeing pretty much I was curious and attempting to see how far I could get So, imported the base model following instructions successfully and could easily edit in blender (kinda wish i had more polly to work with but oh well) , began the manual sculpt/edit to attempt the "project pussy patch" this is a for fun project so , i went with a silly name sorry for that request as it seemed easy enough to make and replace /overlay ect (ive made and done plenty for skyrim even how to port ect) figured this would be a fun new modding system to learn and kind of hit a wall at the end goal Spoiler the pathway for the properties and parameters are saved then made a custom edit mesh for the patch using tthe existing body (copied) if this was a fresh replacer doing this then doing the obj merge via J command should make them identical and i can just remove the old "lower" and simple save ->export the new to same location and that should imo work ... butthat last step seems to fail on me no matter what ive tried Spoiler how this works for this tool per the video instructions as i understand it A: select the archive file path load this B: import mesh & create a new "patch" C: from edits merge new or simply having modified the object already with parameters hit "write" patch as the tool auto saves this into there C part i can get the write output to that folder but the mesh is the original and it fails to save the edit but i attempted and thats how far i got with my limited experience /knowledge and i leave the project Obj zip here incase someone wants to use it i did try deleting old mesh and write patch but no matter what patch remains the same as prior so im unsure if tool maybe is non functional or i skipped some step anyway best regards , if i make further progress ill add on to this camel project obj.7z
