Darko1100 Posted February 4 Posted February 4 I have the same problem with the exception file. I have no idea what it is. It's an update from January 14, right? I just updated Whickedwhims today, and today there was an update for the game itself when I logged into Steam. What bad luck. Before updating Whickedwhims, everything was working perfectly, but now everything is messed up. Does this have anything to do with an animation mod or slider mods? WickedWhims_v185e_Exception.txt 1
sohara13 Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Just Started experiencing this after downloading the horse ranch dlc. Kind of frustrating because all it does is error spam and now the animations and interactions are not showing up. Just sent the exceptions file to the support email on the turbodriver site so hopefully it gets fixed soon!
plumsie90 Posted February 4 Posted February 4 guess the new base game update is causing all sorts of errors in the mod. mine happened in "relationships\features\attractiveness\". so i just started the game and turned that option off in the wickedwhims settings. can't say if the other error variants are also option-based.

This prevents in-laws and extended family members from flirting independently." Therefore, WW needs to be updated to accommodate this new game feature! LittleMsSam reports "EA removed the patch shortly after it was released. We still don't know the reasons for this removal." However, the MCCC and UI Cheats extension patches have been updated. sims.anon Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Glad to know I'm not going bananas. I downloaded Grannie's Cookbook+addons and thought maybe it was just a bad file. I tried using the mod checker, and it said there was a Whims/Fears error? So tooled around some/deleted stuff and the checker didn't find anything, but I'm still getting bombarded with error notifs. When I open the exception file, I keep seeing TypeError: modify_sim_info() takes 4 positional arguments but 5 were given My game was literally fine yesterday soooo.

I removed WW and Turbo from mod folder and the WW save folders in save folder. Kept everything else (including animations etc.) The game works now. Otherwise my sim cannot even hug or kiss another sim. Waiting to put updated WW back in.

So you just need to wait until it's there for free or if you are like me and you have only one evening per week to play, get it from patreon for 4.50$. aqbs Posted February 5 Posted February 5 (edited) I haven't even updated the game version yet and I'm getting the same exception over and over. Never had that one happen. Haven't changed a thing since I shut down last night. Although, in spite of setting auto update to OFF, the app did attempt to update the game automatically at first. I guess they may have snuck just enough in to ruin everything. I'm so (not) shocked that EA could fuck up a wet dream. SIGH Edited February 5 by aqbs
