Balmung889 Posted January 14 Posted January 14 For a few days now, I've been using Chatgpt to find new mods, but this is the only request the AI hasn't been able to help me with. I'm looking for new ways to become wanted and/or end up in prison. As you know, in vanilla Skyrim, the bounty only increases if you're seen committing a crime. Do you know of any mods that make you wanted in other ways? Or quests/events that send you straight to prison? I've already noted the following Loverslab mods: - Body Search - Failure Mode Effects Analysis in Skyrim (FMEA) - Licenses - Player Oppression (maybe. I don't understand, you can get arrested.) Do you know of any other mods that work for me? I mean both the normal ones and the adult ones. I actually find it strange that the only mods that work for me are among the adult ones.
shrtjsrtj Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Two that immediately come to mind are: LMAO - Tolls and Crimes - adds tolls at walled cities and if you don't pay, jail is one possible outcome. Also has other crimes, like for drawing your weapons, lockpicking, and other things. The Ancient Profession - prostitution mod, will get bounties for prostituting yourself without a license. Pretty sure there are other prostitute mods that do similar things, so maybe check the others out.

Yup, seen by any goat, chicken or atronach. Even Bandits will rat you out when they catch you pickpocketing... If you plan on starting a new game, Skyrim Unbound has an option to give you random bounties in random holds. Prison Overhaul (POP) has an MCM option to randomly and quite regularly add a bounty.
empironic Posted January 15 Posted January 15 On the Nexus: "SV Mods" is a compilation of somebodies oldrim mods: You have to pay to hunt and fish or use cookpots and forges, forging at night is a crime, waiting in towns is a crime, and people don't like you looting their dead friends. It does some other stuff I'm not as fond of but it's all toggle-able in the mcm. This is my favorite crime mod because it makes you mind your manners without actively trying to ruin your life. "Climb is Crime for Guards" makes it a crime to climb on buildings if you have the skyclimb climbing mod. "Contraband Confiscation" makes guards take your skooma and black soul gems and other illegal stuff every time they search you, but they don't give you a bounty. Lore friendly and doesn't break things. "Crime Bounty Decay" makes your bounty go away after a while so you can escape guards/prison without living your *whole* life as an outlaw, just make it to the next town and lay low until the heat dies down. "Elaf Bring Danger to Towns is Crime" makes it a crime go to town with monsters or bandits chasing you, I think I'm going to uninstall it soon though because it doesn't have any messaging or mcm and I hate getting a bounty without knowing why. Also what are those guards even there for if not to save me, a tax-paying citizen, from the horrors of the road? Not lore-friendly lol. "Treason is Not Small Crime" apparently gives you some big bounties in certain parts of the civil war quest, I've had it installed for a while but haven't played far enough for it to actually kick in. On Loverslab: "Cursed Loot" can make nudity and/or sex in cities illegal, with a number of fun configurable consequences. "Sexlab Survival" and its license system can give you a ton of bounty in no time, but it makes navigating towns a huge pain in the ass. If you want to be persecuted by an authoritarian regime though, here you go. "Licenses" does basically the same thing without being quite as obnoxious and sexist, and it doesn't add any npcs or make a ton of cell edits to big cities. Basically you need a license to carry a weapon, wear armor, craft things, or even wear clothes (all configurable). Not having a license gets you a fine and your stuff confiscated, and possibly arrested or made to wear medieval bondage devices like a scolds bridle or yoke or something. "Sexlab Adventures" has a highly configurable (kinky) crime system, you can make nudity and bondage either illegal or mandatory, have totally different laws in different holds, and even have the laws periodically randomize. It has a lot of neat features but I don't use it anymore because it doesn't tell you what your bounty is for or even what the laws are so you're constantly checking the mcm to see what you might have done wrong. "Prison Overhaul Patched" has a bounty hunter system and an option to be randomly falsely accused of things every so often. I've loved this mod dearly for many years but it's highly scripted and its scenes are easily broken by other mods so I use Prison Alternative now, but I've had a lot of crash logs point to that mod so I would replace it if I could find something more stable. "Bondage Furniture World" has an option to possibly send bounty hunters after you every time you steal something whether you were seen or not, if the faction is friendly towards you they will ask for it back, otherwise.... kinky things. Also it adds a TON of usable crosses/cages/pillories just freakin everywhere. I wish it had more mcm options honestly, it just does what it does and that's it. Yeah it's a funny scene man, the Nexus dropped the ball big time by banning sex and kink because the line between "realistic depiction of medieval justice" and "kinky porn" is damn fuzzy and possibly nonexistent. So you have either a sanitized pg-13 world or a very silly one coded with sticky hands.

Balmung889 Posted January 15 Author Posted January 15 My plan is to start with no money, weapons, or armor. I'll play with survival mode enabled, but I downloaded a mod that allows fast travel (which I'll use, but rarely). My character doesn't want to sell his body. At least not at the beginning. However, he might be forced to commit some theft to get food and some initial equipment. 21 hours ago, shrtjsrtj said: Two that immediately come to mind are: LMAO - Tolls and Crimes - adds tolls at walled cities and if you don't pay, jail is one possible outcome. I have two questions: 1) Do I have to pay the toll each time I pass, or do you pay once and it's valid for the whole day? 2) What happens if I use fast travel? - The Ancient Profession. I'm ruling it out for now for the reasons mentioned above. I think I'll use Radiant Prostitution because it gives you the option to wait tables (perfect for how I want to set up the game) and it should also have some integration with Simple Slavery. 18 hours ago, CaptainJ03 said: Yup, seen by any goat, chicken or atronach. So you have either a sanitized pg-13 world or a very silly one coded with sticky hands. Nexus - SV Mods. It looks like the non-adult oriented version of Sexlab Survival and/or License. - Climb is Crime for Guards. I don't use it - Contraband Confiscation. A non-adult-oriented version of Body Search. The idea is good, but as mentioned in the main post, until the guards notice your crime, nothing happens. - Crime Bounty Decay. I knew her, but you did well to remind me. - Elaf Bring Danger to Towns is Crime. As you said yourself, it's stupid, and I might add, very situational. - Treason is Not Small Crime. I don't know if I'll play Civil War, but the idea of adding bounties through missions is a good one. It's an idea I had, too. Think about the "Lights Out" mission. It would make sense if, at the end of the mission, the game increased the bounty on you. The same goes for similar missions.... Loverslab - Sexlab Survival. On the mod's page it says that it is no longer supported and will soon be removed. - Licenses. I know it, but I've never played it. I'm tempted to install it, but I'm not very good at English, and it's difficult to set it up so it's not too oppressive. - Sexlab Adventures. It seems similar to Licenses, but without the hassle of purchasing licenses. Just laws to follow. Right? One question. Are the mod's "crimes" only related to sex, bondage, nudity, and the like? Or does the mod also include non-adult-oriented crimes? Theft, pickpocketing, murder, assault... - Prison Overhaul Patched. Prison mods are one of the reasons I decided to start this thread. In my last game a year ago, I installed Prison Alternative and played the Thieves Guild. I've never been arrested. The false accusation feature is VERY interesting. On the Prison Alternative page, there's a patch that, if I understand correctly, brings POP bounty hunters into Prison Alternative. I didn't understand what that meant. So, are these bounty hunters tied to this false accusation mechanic? If so, I'd be very interested in downloading Prison Alternative + this patch. My question is serious, not rhetorical. If I understand correctly (or you think I do), please confirm. - Bondage Furniture World. Does it work with SSE/AE? The info box on the right says no. 9 hours ago, Dorabella said: Yes, no specific license = jail Random inspection by guards. If you convince the guard to ignore you, nothing will happen; if you fail or accepts , you will be body searched and fucked. Licenses. OK. I just have one question. How does it work with shouts, race abilities, starting spells (fire and healing), or the numerous features that many mods implement as spells? Does "Licenses" have any features to handle these situations? Body Search. I've played this one before. Yes, if your character is clean, you don't end up in jail. But if you have stolen items on you, that's a different story. Some items like lockpicks and skoomas become illegal. Thanks everyone for the mods you recommended to me

Dorabella Posted January 15 Posted January 15 5 hours ago, Balmung889 said: Licenses. OK. I doubt it can influence an initial condition. What is certain is that without a specific license (weapons, armor, spells, and more), either your equipment will be confiscated, or you will end up in jail. One mod that will definitely confiscate your equipment without a license is Sexlab Survival, but there is no jail for this.
