There's another mod, I think one of the ones linked to the Fusion City set, that slowly populates concord, but this sounds like a much better way to do it. Will the hardware still be free for the Sim settlement guy? This just slaps some doors on the unused/blocked doors that lead to new cells on the vanilla game, so unless another mod does that, and they overlap, it should be compatible.

This just puts a few doors where they were empty before that leads to new interiors so unless SS2 does that as well, there 'shouldn't' be any conflicts.
roflmaones Posted May 24 Posted May 24 problem is, with ss2 are ALL doors changed and used from concord settlers
awdeqqd Posted June 7 Posted June 7 Like the idea. I sometimes feel disappointed that in the original game there isn't really a "normal" way to earn caps, like you would either be killing, scavenging, and working for each faction, or selling tons of purified water or drugs. Even if you just want to sell some crops you would be acting as a landlord or a noble or something. If you want to play the game as Sims 5 - Apocalypse, you can't. I dont know what "sexist mods" is this mod meant to pair with, but this mod apparently makes early gameplay much easier and, to an extent? more realistic? Though I'm stilling wondering how lore-friendly it is for concord to be a populated town. I mean it doesn't seem to have defenses like DC or GN. There are raiders here at its very center at the beginning of the game and a deathclaw soon climb out of a tunnel. I dont know, I look forward to future updates.

Right now, yeah, the raiders are still there, but the plan is to basically lock up all the doors as if the town went into hide/shelter mode until the raiders are cleared. I may also incorporate a new Concord Guard faction that helps clear out the raiders/deathclaw. I'm also entertaining the thought of changing the dialogue between Preston to match the new lore. At the moment, I'm focused on adding a college with its own quests to help the Player gain a few perks early game. It will take some time to fine tune each one for playability and lore. Maybe after a Mayor, licensing system etc., player home, owning a cafe, but the updates will take a few months to a year most likely. Edited June 8 by Wolfe6900 1
