Menu isn't working (Xbox one)

playing an old run, like 3 years of history. when I open the menu with the B, the game doesn't reacts to my inputs, I smash the buttons and do an kamehameha with the joystick but the game just refuses to work, isn't an frezze because when I press B again the game keeps going without problems. also this happens with the fast selection, I have to switch between B and Arrows in mif-fight just for an chance something works so I can heal myself. any idea how to fix this? I downloaded the game again just hours ago if that changes somethingz but the problem was atleast present sometime back

Isn't the Xbox basically a closed system? Even if we did identify a problem, how would you go about fixing something in a closed system?

 

I mean I can tell you all menus are swf (Flash) files, but now what? Can you access the Xbox file system to even begin looking at these?
