Anyway, I have many photos of Public Transportation in California from Late September/Early October 2025 Trip on my phone and tablet respectively.

Opinions? My opinion is that the public transportation system in most (perhaps all) cities in Southern California sucks dick, and not in the good way. I've heard that in big European cities and big cities in the eastern U.S., buses run every 5 minutes. 'Round here it's more like every 30.

In my neck of the woods: people in general like their cars and sprawling highways too much to make public transit an actual priority.  The infrastructure for it just isn't there.

Never happen here.  Not that they couldn't, because the big city types are all moving here and bringing the population of a big city, but as Dark Spectre said, the infrastructure is nonexistent.  We literally have city population on podunk back country two lane roads.  ...But that doesn't stop the politicians from allowing the "developers" to build, build, build - everything except needed infrastructure, of course.  They'll worry about that when this place is like Florida and no one can move because there's literally physically nowhere for the people to go without running into someone else due to piss poor planning 20 or 40 years ago, when they could have - and should have - been planning for it.

But all they see is dollar signs.  Oh, and of course none of them (the politicians) live here, either.  So fuck us.

And I hate EV buses because they are problematic thanks to dirty fucking corrupt  politicians.
