car34f Posted December 29, 2025 Posted December 29, 2025 you are referring to Backported Extended ESL Support (BEES) and for those with a game version lower than 1130 you can install it without any problems I installed it and it works 1

Since you are using Vortex, I have no idea. You have to google it, search for FNIS in the folders, and delete that stuff. The error message indicates that you are using an LE version of the mod. Use the version linked above, delete that other version. Besides didn't we already have a discussion on Vortex or was that someone else? I would highly, I repeat, highly recommend to switch to MO2. Vortex is unreliable, slow, doesn't give you full control over your load order, thus you will have issues with larger load orders you wouldn't have in MO2. Thank you. I found all that and deleted it. Also Nemeis stuff is in there too. Should I delete that too? Also though the error alert I always got for a .ddl being LE not SE was for SLAL. I am looking through all my folders now if you have any tips whrre the remains of SLAL would be i would be grateful. Because I deleted that .ddl a couple times and it comes back on its own If I could solve just that one thing I would not have to make all these other changes Edited December 29, 2025 by katrina.balanchuk

They simple reflect a frustration Thank you for the link I am grateful. I mostly read the threads here on LL and used my experience with FO4. Those guides always seem to list 50000 mods as "the mods" to have. For example I read there : "My goal was to freshen Tamriel up a bit. Most cities, towns and villages have gotten a new design, the roads got new lanterns, and even a few new dungeons can now be found. Some spots get rebuild over time as new occupants move in. Another thing are relicts of the past. Shrines of Snowelves can be found, same as the remains of the anchors of Molag Baal (when he tried to invade Tamriel) and all daedric princes have new shrines hidden away. " None of these things are my goal though.🤔 When I hope for, is a basic list of maybe 20 mods to have Sexlab working proper and then I'll add my own favorites from loverslab for the "social" quests. In Fallout 4 we have a succinct page focused on just getting AAF working with its animations ( AAF= "Sexlab equivalent" ). Is there aguide like that for Skyrim?☺️ Cherry pick what you want and leave the rest, it is a guide after all, I started with O Stim, switched to Sex Lab less to "tinker" with in my opinion, like I said each has their own preferred set up, make your game your own. I stay away from too many landscape, city changing mods, no ENB in my game. The goal I think you should shoot for is a stable load of your game with your preferred sex initiator working, wether Ostim or SL animations, support mods for prev mentioned, then with that operating then start adding what you want. Sadly No "Fucking Manual" here in Skyrim, with three iterations of the game it would be difficult. LE, SE, AE. I am not slighting anyone's opinion just stating my own opinion. katrina.balanchuk Posted December 29, 2025 Author Posted December 29, 2025 So I just started for another test and my character is still floating above ground in t pose. I had it working beofre where there was proper walking and only the animations did not load. I will go back to an earlier profile and start form there again
car34f Posted December 29, 2025 Posted December 29, 2025 in vortex in the top bar there is the "delete mod" button, press it, don't worry it doesn't delete the mods but only the links, after it's finished press the "implement mod" button, wait for it to finish then check 1

I tried purge when I tried to get rid of a big collection i had downloaded. But somehow afetrwards a large portionof thsoe mods were still present and even shown enabled. And most mods where shown as uninstalled ( I think) The good news is I just tried on adifferent profile and I got no error message the bad news is still tposing floating over the ground. I read elsewhere this could be a sign of a basic game animation file having gotten corrupted , maybe I should have Steam verify my files and then start over? And start over with the simplest most common files used for this. whichever the latest and greatest is, with the best most fluid animations, is not as important to me, as that it works and doesnt blow up my game. A;lso I have a strong computer it should be able to manage . Edited December 29, 2025 by katrina.balanchuk
katrina.balanchuk Posted December 29, 2025 Author Posted December 29, 2025 (edited) It is obvious to me from perusing the mods that Skyrim has an even richer mod scene than Fallout 4 especially when it comes to the 'social" mods LL is know for. Otherwise I would have given up already and gone back to Fallout 4. It took me WEEKS to get things running right there too. Of course that was years ago when I did not even know what RAM was.. So now I know a lot more and it should hopefully be much faster Edited December 29, 2025 by katrina.balanchuk 1

I also used the instructions – but please note when they were created. Pandora has since been developed to the point where it can replace FNIS... that's what I did, and I had no problems. This information is also found in the second linked guide. Regardless of what you use – if you use MO2 to manage the mod list, it's important to create a separate output "directory" for FNIS or Pandora... by creating an "empty" mod on the left and naming it accordingly (mine is called "Pandora Output"). And with MO2, always make sure that nothing is entered in the "Overwrite" field – at the very bottom of the left side – as this will trigger an error message. 1

The mod package you referred to ships the outdated .DLL thats causing issues. As for the T-Posing that can have several causes. Most probably you just need to rerun Pandora, whenever a new animation file is added. Previous Pandora files will be overwritten. Second cause is you have installed an outdated animation package that was made for LE edition. Third, you have not installed the skeleton mod. TLDR, you need to take it slow, follow the basic guide, install only the required mods, ensure that they are for or compatible with the AE version of the game and then you add mods you like to have and their dependencies. For comparison, looking at the guide I might only have 1/2 of the mods it mentions installed, the rest I have never even heard of and I mod Skyrim since 2011 and have 1.800 plugins installed. "Too many cooks in the Kitchen"? My point is, a rushed installation is a bad installation. Always have Steam verify files, I almost never get a game that does not have a couple of digits added when verification is run. Also click play on the base game while in Steam to set up the game as "legal" not a cracked* version. *cracked = ripped or stolen Going to bow out of this and let those in the know guide you, Wish you well! @Miauzi Thank You, I knew you switched to AE some months back, that is why I tagged you, Thanks Still on SE myself. 1
Of course, you also have to restart Pandora after installing new files... and here I'm only referring to pure animation files. Even mods for clothing or armor can contain such elements and, if FNIS/Pandora isn't properly addressed, cause these T-poses. Since Pandora only runs for a few seconds, I've made it a habit to activate it after installing EVERY mod... and of course, also after uninstalling or deactivating it.
katrina.balanchuk Posted December 30, 2025 Author Posted December 30, 2025 (edited) Ok everyone. thank you for all the good info! 1) and yes it was a rushed installation with a large collection at its base , as I felt I didnt need the guides based on my FO4 experience and the 2 games supposedly having a similar engine. So I was treating this, as if I am setting up a new FO4 mod list just with different files packs. Easy peasy, right? 🤭 A lesson for anyone coming from FO4 adult modding to Skyrim adult modding, might be this: Skyrim adult modding is a lot more complex and has more moving parts than FO4, and just because you feel you know what you are doing in FO4 adult modding, does not mean you can skip the guides for Skyrim. 2) Also, I verified my files in steam and no problems. So, I will not uninstall/reinstall the game for now. I will spend some time with the guides and then hopefully find out which of the many recommended animation helper files caused these issues. 3) I need to get a grip on 3 issues now. a ) tposing (got some good hints here from posts above) b) no animations loading (which may have the same cause as a) c) the LE dll hiding somewhere in the SE marked files I downloaded and enabled. Thank you everyone for their help, I should be fine, to take it from here. Edited December 31, 2025 by katrina.balanchuk
katrina.balanchuk Posted December 30, 2025 Author Posted December 30, 2025 (edited) Hmmm. Maybe I spoke too quickly... Just did a test on a new profile. Only mods active were SKSE, Unofficial SSE Patch and Alternate Start ( for quick access ot testing) And my character was floating and t posing, even though file verification on Steam said all is good. Then I tested as pure vanilla starting via Steam. And character was still tposing and floating. What ever is broke its been broke for a while, ...Time to uninstall/reinstall I guess.
