Bluegunk Posted December 27, 2025 Posted December 27, 2025 Did anyone ever crush the XPMSSE Weaponstylescalescript Noah-level flood in game scripts? In this order I have XP32 Maximum Skeleton Special Extended v5.06 XP32 Maximum Skeleton Special Extended - Fixed Scripts XPMSSE - Nemesis - Papyrus Stack Fix Optimised Scripts for XPMSSE and the script continues to explode into my game and wreck it.
traison Posted December 27, 2025 Posted December 27, 2025 Just to clarify, what's a script flood, and how does a script explode into a game?
Bluegunk Posted December 27, 2025 Author Posted December 27, 2025 Hi Traison There's nothing like hyperbole! Over the years I try to keep XPMSSE in it place. Yet frequently I find the weaponstylescalescript fills up my Papyrus Logs (when on), and in Resaver I find long suspended stacks. Using profile just now, it was taking a huge percentage of frametime. I know the Papyrus logs are fairly valueless, but XPMSSE takes up residence in them. I don't understand why the Script addons I listed above appear to make no difference. I wonder if anyone else has a better answer.
traison Posted December 27, 2025 Posted December 27, 2025 Any chance of an example of the errors its logging, and where Resaver says it is stuck? Perhaps upload your current weaponstylescalescript.pex (I'll make the psc myself)?
Bluegunk Posted December 27, 2025 Author Posted December 27, 2025 Thanks! I'd switched off logging. I'll put it back on again and do some more testing.

Here is a screenshot that shows a conversation about XPMSE spam and the solution. I use the Lite version now without the optimized scripts mod and I haven't had any problems. I set it up like the second screenshot. If this isn't what you were referring to, I apologize. I'm swimming in hormones today.
Guest Posted December 27, 2025 Posted December 27, 2025 Page 111 from Aylis AE mod list. Where I found it.
Bluegunk Posted December 28, 2025 Author Posted December 28, 2025 (edited) Thank you! That's very kind! I think this is the ideal solution. Thanks for talking me through it! Edited December 28, 2025 by Bluegunk
