I tried updating LooksMenu and it seems to work fine on my save. You can try it out here:

Of course don't ask expired6978 for help if anything breaks while using this experimental unofficial version, and as always be sure to keep a backup of your save file.

NOTE: Overlays and custom hair colors were previously broken due to a mistake on my part and an oversight in F4SE, I've uploaded a new version at the link above that should fix the issue.

 

I haven't tried it, just tripped over it.
