Rimworld Traveller Posted December 12, 2025 Posted December 12, 2025 Playing a highly Loverslabbed playthrough (survived all of Commonwealth Slavers, escaped via "medium" ending), my character always becomes permanently gagged and unable to speak (makes Hmmph sounds) when I enter the Museum of Freedom. I've tried Fast Traveling, sleeping, entering power armor, putting on and taking off actual gags. Are there any console commands that can remove this status effect? I reverted to an earlier save and it happened again in the exact same spot. Is this fixable?
JB. Posted December 12, 2025 Posted December 12, 2025 What has worked for those who had this problem is to uninstall KFT, load your last save and re-save, and then reinstall KFT. It's not the most elegant solution, but it works. 1
lucieanderson Posted December 13, 2025 Posted December 13, 2025 If the actual gag has been removed and only the voice stays "gagged" or muffled, you can try this console command, might or might not work on your install (it does work on my WoD modded install). - for the female player voice: player.setvoicetype 00018DF7 - for the male player voice: player.setvoicetype 00018DF4 3

Hopefully anyone googling Fallout 4 gagged voice find this. Unbelievably removing KFT/dependencies didn't work so I was thinking maybe it was Devious Devices that was the problem? Or maybe just Vortex not actually removing mod/plugins I told it to remove. 2
roflmaones Posted January 9 Posted January 9 (edited) another simple solution: start an SOLO sex act with ure MC. for example an pose or similar solo thing. this remove invisible gag items and after the scene u are normal again... no uninstall or forcing things, use game intern solutions Edited January 9 by roflmaones
