Hades II: NSFWResprite Mod

I am breaking this mod off into it's own thread as well. The main Hades2 thread is quite long at this point and I feel like the currently active mods get lost in it. The history of this mod as well as other great Hades2 mods can be found on the main Hades 2 thread.

This is my version of a NSFW mod for Hades 2, it replaces most of the 2D artwork in the game with NSFW images.

This is currently written for The 1.1 release of Hades 2.

 

NOTE: You must be using high resolution textures to see the replacement images.

 

AI Use Disclaimer:
This mod is made using AI image generation. Specifically Invoke AI using the following:

Model: perfectPonyXL_v40

LoRA: hades_pony_v2-1

 

Features

• Replaces 87 character portraits, all of the female characters and genderbends most of the male characters in the game
• Replaces 36 portraits for the codex
• Setting to disable the genderbent characters and only change the female characters in the game

 

Install

1. Install r2modman (which can be found here)
2. Enable the Show NSFW content in r2modman filter
3. Install this mod and it's dependencies

Access Settings

1. You must be in game to access the settings menu
2. Press the Insert button to access the mod menu
3. Navigate to the menu in the top left: Mods > Kuipo-NSFWResprite > Configure

4. You can disable the setting if you wish to have the default male characters
5. Close the mod menu by pressing Insert again

NOTE: You MUST restart the game for this setting to take effect. Changing the setting and not resetting the game will not show any difference.

In depth install instructions:

 

Step 1 - Install and setup r2modman by making a profile and selecting hades2

Step 2 - Open r2modman and click the "Online" section on the left side

 

Step 3 - Click Filter in the top right and check the "Allow NSFW (potentially explicit) mods" checkbox and click Apply Filters

 

Step 4 - Select my mod from the list or search for NSFWResprite and select the Download button on the right hand side

 

Step 5 - Select the latest version and press the Download with dependencies button

 

Done!  You can verify it's all installed by selecting the "Installed" option on the left and seeing it installed with the dependencies.

 

You can now run the game by pressing the "Start modded" button in the top left and your game will have the modded content.

Probably, ya. It was very kind of @winctran to share their findings and I think I'll try it out. I bet we'll make some for FTN and this mod at some point. I may have some free time in the next few weeks. I'm pretty busy and taking a small break for the moment.

Hello community and Kuipo,

I’d like to let you know that I took your work and built upon it to create my own mod with alternative textures. Of course, I mentioned you in the README and on the Nexus mod page credits.
 

I was interested in mods that change in-game models, but I had no idea how to approach it. I was also quite disappointed when I discovered that beta mods no longer work.
Then I found a link on Reddit to this forum and your work. It inspired me a lot and showed me that my goal was still achievable.

After analyzing how everything works, I wrote a small script that “cuts out” models from packages previously extracted with deppth. I then redesigned the structure, created a new manifest, packaged everything back together, and added some Lua code - and it all worked!
 

Anyway, thanks again for the idea and inspiration.

The main reason I didn't is that I liked there to be some clothing and also it didn't match the player model since the current model doesn't allow you to edit the meshes... you basically have to have a skirt as part of the model.

i know that, just feel bad i can see every lady boob, but not melinoe and i really want to see her naked, and she is the one in every conversation. thank for the respond, love your mod !

Hi everyone, I currently have two mod files from the Kuipo, eddyboy, and others group. The installation mechanism is simple: copy the folder, paste it into the game, and run the executable to launch the mod. It doesn't require r2modman (the two mod files are FreeTheNippleEdition and Kuipo's nude AI mod - NSFWResprite). The reason I'm using r2modman is because my Steam system inexplicably causes errors preventing the game from opening (many others have experienced similar issues with r2modman).

In short, I have their mod files with a simple installation method: copy the files and run the game's executable (without r2modman). It includes all the necessary tools (no need to download Hell2Modding, ENVY, etc.). Just copy the files and run the game's executable.

However, these are not my own creations, so the decision rests with the mod owner. I will leave a message here and wait for the mod owner's approval or refusal to allow me to upload them. (I won't share them even via private message; I don't have the right to distribute mod files that don't belong to me).

It seems like it doesn't go through r2modman, so the crack works. It helps those who have problems with r2modman, but it also supports users who crack it, which isn't good at all. I don't agree with using cracked applications; please buy the game to support the developers.

In conclusion, thank you to the team for putting in the time and effort to release the mod for everyone. People like that are truly worthy of respect.

I know this is a longshot but would you consider doing a reverse-genderbend version of this mod? (ie. making all female characters male-presenting lol)

if that isn't something you'd be into, i'd appreciate if you can point out how you made the genderbending art in more detail so I can make my own lol
