With this latest update did they put anything in It where we can run aaf . I had my no update set at steam and it would not let me launce until i downloaded the new version. is this new version compatible with aaf.  I want to know is it to the point now where we don't have to keep down grading.   I see a sex nod over at nexus but it doesn't really say much about the mod. do I have to down grade. I find a lot of the new mods are being made for the upgraded games.

i dont think its currently compatible with the new update similar to most other mods.. also you have to set your games to READ-ONLY in steam for it to not update. their update thing will always update otherwise even with their settings to not update set. also yes i think you can downgrade but you have to manually copy over files i think. im not sure about the process.

ai says this works. but im not sure

Method 1: Using Steam console commands
  1. Open the Steam console by pressing Win + R and typing steam://open/console, then press Enter.
  2. Download the previous version's depots by running the following command in the console and waiting for each download to complete: download_depot 377160 377162 5698952341602575696.
  3. After the download finishes, locate the downloaded files in the folder shown in the console log, typically C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\content\app_377160\.
  4. Navigate to your Fallout 4 install directory, which is usually ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\.
  5. Back up your current Fallout4.exe by renaming it to Fallout4_111137.exe.
  6. Copy the downloaded file from the content folder and paste it into your Fallout 4 install directory, replacing the existing file.
