TajZ Posted November 24, 2025 Posted November 24, 2025 (edited) I am having this strange event every time I try to load form one of my 3 Autosave files (my Manualsaves are ok somehow). Even though I have not even entered Dollmaker's Shop in Dawnstar I am getting messages that I failed to find whichever woman, the collar activates, etc. At the same time the events of Captured Dreams, Binding, Sanguine's Debauchery and S.L.U.T.S. activate at the same time. Milk Mod Economy displays the error of scripts missing repeatedly and saying all extensions are missing. I am bald due to the Binding OR Submissive Lola. Assuming I click OK fast enough before another message pops, I die and turn into ash due to the different effects and have to reload and start the 10 minute ad infinatum slug again- I am a Nord Vampire. Here are some pics, my papyrus logs, and crashlogs. Again it does not seem to affect my Manualsaves, but the first time it happened I lost 7 1/2 hours because I dind't think to make a new manual save. This morning, I can't even get into the game and just have an infinite loading screen - with the lore/tip messages atleast. Also, here is my modlist if that helps. Miauzi Posted November 24, 2025 Posted November 24, 2025 In Skyrim, as well as in Fallout, you should be very careful about starting your game with "automatic" save files... "Quick save" and "auto-save" don't really work properly. Â Therefore, players are always advised to regularly create manual save files and start their game using these. Â Other users can provide more detailed explanations.
traison Posted November 24, 2025 Posted November 24, 2025 What does ReSaver have to say about these broken saves?
traison Posted November 24, 2025 Posted November 24, 2025 2 minutes ago, Miauzi said: ...players are always advised to regularly create manual save files and start their game using these. Â My counter argument to this is that I don't recall ever running into these corrupted save files caused by quick saves, and I've been rolling with them since Fallout 3. Trust, but verify: not saying people are wrong, but I'm thinking these saves breaking is caused by something else going wrong. Sweep the problem under the rug and hope it doesn't grow arms, legs and opposable thumbs, or deal with it now while it's still (probably) just a dust mite? Â Or am I insanely lucky and have been wasting my time NOT playing the lottery?
You were lucky — but you also had good sense… I'm assuming your Papyrus log contains significantly fewer error entries than most of ours.  And unfortunately, I've experienced it myself time and again — that my game wouldn't load correctly with "auto-save" or "quick-save."
TajZ Posted November 24, 2025 Author Posted November 24, 2025 Here is the pic, it was tricky to find because EVERY save from each Character is under my TESVSGM folder under my current toon; which doesn't really work with MO2 at all. What do you all need from here?
traison Posted November 24, 2025 Posted November 24, 2025 I have a feeling your Papyrus situation is so horrible, it's failing to save/load properly. 66 unattached instances, 14 suspended threads? Check your Papyrus log, make sure it's not dumping stacks. Also make sure you don't have thousands of errors about missing scripts and script properties.
TajZ Posted November 24, 2025 Author Posted November 24, 2025 What steps should I take? Do I just click Clean and see what happens? I have never really used all the functions of Resaver after all these years so I am unclear on how to proceed.

TajZ Posted November 24, 2025 Author Posted November 24, 2025 Right, so even on my most recent log when loading from a manual save, which is still works fine. I see either ALOT of scary errors and warnings Almost seems like everything is broken. Do I just uncheck mods and retry load and see if that does a trick? I did use Resaver to remove unattached instances and unknown scripts and that did not do anything, still stuck at infinite load with autosaves. Papyrus.0.log
TajZ Posted November 24, 2025 Author Posted November 24, 2025 ....scratch that, now even my manual save goes straight to CTD. I am really concerned about losing all that progress, Amorous Adventures alone take a very long time, heh.😢 Papyrus.0.log crash-2025-11-24-21-03-49.log
traison Posted November 24, 2025 Posted November 24, 2025 (edited) You have over 1800 errors about missing scripts and script properties. You're missing FNIS scripts. XPMSE is most likely broken. wetfunctionmcm, pamabeatupcore, isummain, zbfsexlab, est_XDFFDom_Quest and magicAttachAshPileOnVampireDeath are most likely broken. ectnDualSheathAbilityEffect is spamming the log with errors. The rate at which it is spamming might negatively affect game performance. That's only from the first 30%, so there's plenty more.  Your Papyrus engine is also dumping stacks, so that's why your saves are broken. It will eventually also cause crashing.  The reason why you crashed in the crash log you posted was because of a decal. Probably a spell decal if I had to guess, but could be blood etc. There might be something wrong with it's bounding box. Unfortunately the decal file name is not revealed. TajZ Posted November 25, 2025 Author Posted November 25, 2025 Crap, well I do run Bodyslide after every mod I download and I run Pandora every mod too (Went from FNIS to Nemesis to Pandora). I think what I really screwed up on though was running Loot after every install also, I think that might be what screwed me over. The decals are probably from Slavetats. All of my PC's and followers (Lydia, Jordis, Leah, and Sasha - depending on the PC) have atleast something from bush (which maybe isn't needed anymore with The New Gentle(wo)men replacing SOS) to garter belts and stockings and atleast some Rutah tattoo from fullbody to back or arm/leg sleeve. However, I have both VioLens and Sanguine Symphony so those 2 could be conflicting as well. If it a LOOT issue, I don't even know where to start...
traison Posted November 25, 2025 Posted November 25, 2025 (edited) 50 minutes ago, TajZ said: ...I do run Bodyslide...  This has nothing to do with Papyrus.  50 minutes ago, TajZ said: I run Pandora ... [I run] Loot after every install ... I think that might be what screwed me over.  Missing FNIS scripts is one of your smallest issues, and that I'd say is most likely the fault of Pandora: as far as I remember its install instructions do not mention that it doesn't include FNIS scripts, despite it for some odd reason including the FNIS plugin. Keep FNIS installed when you're using Pandora.  Loot as far as I know does nothing more than compare your plugin list to a master list and sort according to that. I don't know what it does with a mod it doesn't know about. This could be the source of some of your missing script properties, but I doubt sorting plugins by hand (i.e. using xEdit) would solve that many of them. Missing script properties most likely come from scripting errors.  50 minutes ago, TajZ said: The decals are probably from Slavetats.  Decals are: Impact marks from spells. The magic effect from rune spells. Potentially some 2D dirt on the floor. Blood. Slavetats has nothing to do with any of these.  50 minutes ago, TajZ said: I don't even know where to start...  One issue at a time. The prospect of having to fix thousands of Papyrus errors might make playing Fortnite instead sound like a great idea, but you should keep in mind that these aren't always separate problems. Probably 90% of the error spam in your log is coming from one or two mods.  Edit: In my todo list I have an entry to create a Papyrus log debugging guide, but there's no ETA on that. TajZ Posted November 25, 2025 Author Posted November 25, 2025 I am heading into work now but will check back in the early morning and start from there. I have added roughly 12-15 mods in the last two nights so if I am lucky it might just be those. I will keep you posted. Thanks again.
TajZ Posted November 25, 2025 Author Posted November 25, 2025 Well, I have turned off 30+mods and from the past 3 weeks and I still can't figure out what is wrong, enabled FNIS in my plugins list but my Papyrus logs are still a mess. Everysave is an infinite loading screen now. Papyrus.0.log
traison Posted November 25, 2025 Posted November 25, 2025 2 hours ago, TajZ said: I have turned off 30+mods ... Everysave is an infinite loading screen now. Â Always start a new game after removing scripted mods unless you know what you're doing. Â As for the latest log: You still have nearly 700 missing scripts and script properties. SkyUI favourites menu is broken for some reason, and it's spamming the log. wetfunctionmcm is most likely broken. And whatever you did at the end of the log, that reported over 2000 missing scripts and script properties. You probably tried to load an old save.
TajZ Posted November 26, 2025 Author Posted November 26, 2025 .... .... So the character that started this thread, 156 hours in; thane in Whiterun, Riften, Falkreath, Morthal, and Solitude; finished Companions, Bards, and completely rebuilt the Thieves Guild, put in 20+hours courting partners in Amorous Adventures, and bit 431 necks to become a Nightlord Vampire in Better Vampires is broken? I have a manual save from 3 hours prior that I haven't touched yet, so can possibly fix her. But another character who I am 68 hours in and completed Civil War for 1st time with Stormcloaks (always sided with the Imperials in LE 3 times), thane in Windhelm and completed Laura's Bondage Shop storyline is beyond broken? Whatever caused the issue of all Sexlab events to trigger in 1st place affected her, too and the soonest manual save is from 15 hours ago. Not touching that again. At this point, these 2 characters are on infinite load loops. .... So best bet is to create a new character to see what the heck mod(s) is causing the trouble and posting the Papyrus log and hopefully going back later to repair the others?
traison Posted November 26, 2025 Posted November 26, 2025 (edited) Probably what I'd try to do here is to get the Papyrus situation sorted out on a new character. Then clean a broken save with ReSaver. If the save loads, wait 3 minutes and save again. View this new save in ReSaver and inspect the Papyrus log again. If it's still dumping stacks or crashing then the odds of saving those is kinda slim. Â Edit: Should perhaps clarify that cleaning the save in this case probably also requires terminating running script instances. If you can pick out the ones dumping stacks you can probably save yourself some trouble, otherwise all mods will behave as if its the first time they're running - this may or may not be a good thing. TajZ Posted November 26, 2025 Author Posted November 26, 2025 Ok, I am still seeing errors not sure why. Game isn't crashing right now. I have turned off Sanguine Debauchery, Binding, Radiant Prostitution, Hydra Slavegirls, Sacrosanct and Dine with Followers. Should I turn off Horses for Followers, Mannequins Improved, and My Home Is Your Home possibly the Camping and Skills of the Wild - those worked originally? Papyrus.0.log
traison Posted November 27, 2025 Posted November 27, 2025 Still got nearly 700 missing scripts and script properties. XPMSE is still broken because of missing FNIS scripts. XPMSE is spamming errors in the log. 2 hours ago, TajZ said: Should I turn off... Â Start by installing FNIS. Trying to work with and make sense of a 166 thousand line log makes absolutely no sense.

I have no idea how, but I missed the crucial step of selecting "Create files in mod" in "Pandora Output" mod. The weird thing, is even though I missed that step is was working for the last 7 months without that create files in output mod. I don't see what the difference is however. TajZ Posted November 27, 2025 Author Posted November 27, 2025 1 more for tonight, than I am off to work. Papyrus.0.log
traison Posted November 29, 2025 Posted November 29, 2025 Published a paper on Papyrus logs. Maybe it will be useful here. Still WIP, expanded as needed. https://www.loverslab.com/blogs/entry/24782-reading-papyrus-logs/
