Back2friday Posted November 23, 2025 Posted November 23, 2025 Hi i want to remove 90% of files in a clothing mod to save space because i dont use all of them. But the textures are named like 2_D, 3_D, 4_D ect ect. How can i see which texture belongs to which mesh?
plutocene Posted November 23, 2025 Posted November 23, 2025 (edited) Open the armor/clothing mesh you want to keep in nifskope. Under lightingshaderproperty there is an entry BSShadertextureset, which contains the used textures. Keep in mind that an armor usually contains multiple pieces, thus you have to go through them all to catch the whole set of textures. Edited November 23, 2025 by plutocene 1

Yinkle Posted November 23, 2025 Posted November 23, 2025 (edited) You should also be aware that some mods use "TextureSet" Forms in the plugin to swap textures in a nif for alternate versions. Edited November 23, 2025 by Yinkle
