FO 4 Update problems

I allowed my Fallout 4 game to be updated.  It claims a number of things are not compatible: mostly dll files.  

 

I have updated all mods that I downloaded from Nexus, including F4SE.

 

The message I get indicates something about LL_fourplay.  I have uninstalled and removed all four play files, but I get the same message.

 

I worry that AAF uses fourplay, and so will have to uninstall AAF, and all related mods.  

 

Before I do that, I thought I would ask if anyone here has any idea of what I can try next. 

 

I cannot find a way to copy or even photograph the message.  So, if that is needed, I will take time to copy it as best as I can.

Unless you want to wait for all mods to be matched to Anniversary Edition, one word . . .

 

 

Downgrade!

 

Seriously, Bethesda has stated they will be releasing patches for their latest blunder ETA being 3 weeks to a month away.

That's just to fix FO4 AE. Many mods will be upgrading (or not!) AFTER that. No guess as when the dust will settle.

Im Ernst, Bethesda hat angekündigt, dass sie Patches für ihren jüngsten Fehler veröffentlichen werden; der voraussichtliche Veröffentlichungstermin liegt bei 3 Wochen bis einem Monat.

Das dient lediglich der Behebung des FO4 AE-Problems. Viele Mods werden danach aktualisiert (oder auch nicht!). Es ist unmöglich abzuschätzen, wann sich die Lage beruhigt.

It took them 1.5 years to fix the bugs from the upgrade to the Advanced Enhanced Version (AE) version 1.5 years ago!

 

That's right—the bugs in their "old" AE version of Fallout 4 were fixed with the "new" AE version... but they also introduced plenty of new bugs!

There are already a number of videos that address this... my link is in my native German (but there are also online translators!).

Okay.  I wonder if AAF will be updated, soon.  I read that Bethesda is aware that they rendered many mods inoperative.  I wonder if they will send a new update.

 

I hate to downgrade, because the game is now on the latest patch.  NG was frustrating but it is working okay.  I also read that the LooksMenu author may have moved on.  So that is a good reason to downgrade.
