Assert failed

   Kept getting these errors after directly copy pasted some monster assets to dd root folder (common\DarkestDungeon\monsters\castellan)etc, does anyone know what these mean?

I deleted the 2 sprite.fortifying_vapours_target files in cultist_harpy monster folder but still get the same error codes before ctd

hmm... its associated with the spine, what mods are you using exactly? 
Also, and I'm assuming, if you are doing skin replacement, you have to make sure that the .atlas file is the same or matches the png file. There's also the .art file and make sure it's the same on the fx files too.

Thank you for the reply, there's a monster replacer mod I was using, but instead of installing the mod I just copied a few units' steamapps\common\DarkestDungeon\monsters folder and pasted to my game directory, this is likely the reason
