Kind of Fixed: FPS drop and no Body nodes changing with 3BBB body amazing

2nd edit: playing after a while same issues appeared again. no idea what it is. but the re install of the skeleton is like a temp fix. All the fps issues reappear. Uninstalled community shaders. guess I am just going to play with lag every time COL scanner runs. 

 

Again; To clarify. it only happens when naked. 

 

 

Edit: It was XP32 skeleton. using the "Latest" option in the installer does not like node changing. I used the "Older" se version. Now everything works fine and so does community Shaders. 

 

I have to give credit over to Fairwyn for helping me figure it out over in his Curse of Life mod forum. I started this venture when in their forum. kind of took it over. In one of his messages to me it led me down the correct path. 

 

 

Heya, Haven't modded Skyrim SE in an extremely long time and now that I am back I coming across an issue I can not figure out. 

 

When I use 3BBB body amazing (3BA 2.48) in body slide and if any mod tries to modify the nodes in game COL/MME/BOS/SLIF/etc the game fps drops dramatically to around 40fps and nothing on the body changes (Breasts/belly). I have built the body and all the outfits.

 

when I put armor on FPS is back up in the 300's. morphs are not changed.

 

But when I use one of the old bodies like CBBE physics or just the regular CBBE the body changes do take effect (breasts/belly) with barely FPS drop.

 

Its like the 3bbb body amazing nodes aren't matching with the nodes from the mods and the mods are calling to change what doesn't exist and are lagging out.

 

I have run the game with only curse of Life before and yet when the mod tries to adjust nodes without any others effecting the game the FPS drops.

 

I have the plugin list below. Last time I modded was a long time ago, something changed since then, some checkbox or body mod/adjustment I am missing. I also just starting using MO2 this go around and I am still getting used to it. Much better then vortex. 

 

I am going to try a profile with nothing but the body and one preg mod and see if it still does it.

It doesn't appear that you have the main HDT SMP module installed. I recommend installing the "HDT SMP Flex" Module or the "Fast HDT SMP" module. You have the bodies, hair and clothing mods for HDT SMP but no main module to run them.

Never heard of Flex.

 

Just woke up. going to start fresh and install everything expect Bodies/Loverslab mods. Make sure it all runs smooth with the load order. then install Faster/3ba/skeleton/and curse of life. see if it works or the same thing happens.

Alright just an update. for prosperities sake here is my current plugin list with no Sexlab/body mods. I made my players speed multiplier 2000 and toggled collision off and sprinted all around the map and the fps was between 360-480. Game is running silky smooth with no crashes. Now I am going to follow body installation directions to a T and take screen shots of each Fomods settings as I install them to make sure I am selecting the right options.

okay, here are the plugins for my body/hair/males/females/physics. this continues right after the other plug list. Just only listed the new plugins to keep the clutter down. Everything is running great. no FPS drops everything is smooth. but even if it is my load order could still be wrong. so if someone could double check the load order that would be great. I am going to now experiment with SLIF and try and make it work with 3BA.

Slif I feel is a lost cause. Gave up on it. Can not get it to effect the 3ba body. effects cbbe fine. I even have 3ba body morphs and lists recommended with Morph modus and percentages selected.

 

I am still getting the drastic drop from 300 fps whenever I activate any preg mod that takes control of any nodes on the 3BA body but only when no armor is attached, maybe Mu has something to do with it. I tested with COL/BOS/FERT+. below is the video of me testing. I probably need to redo my physics installation and body installation for maximum performance.

I am adapting to P+ now to try and optimize script lag and seems to be working fine. After a lot of trial and error with animation limits and such.

If you read my thread and got past all the trial-n-error you might have gathered that doing morphs in Skyrim is potentially quite resource-intensive. What I see in your video looks perfectly normal. The reason it looks so bad for you is that you're running the game at uncapped fps.

 

It's like I made a program to render a black screen at ten thousand fps, then wondered why adding a cube to it dropped it by a thousand. Doesn't mean the cube is a major problem, just means now the gpu is actually doing something. If adding 10 cubes drops it to 0 fps, then we have a problem.

Yeah, I am now putting myself through he arduous task of enabling mods one by one and loading a new save everytime to figure out what is causing it. I don;t beleive it is the body now or anything loverslab. one of my 100's of regular nexus mods must be the cause. I will update once I figure it out.

You can fast-track that by setting bEnableBodyMorph=0 in skee64.ini. This keeps everything, but the body morphs from RaceMenu. If it's something else, like you're suspecting, this won't fix the problem.

 

My suspicion is that it will fix the problem, because like I said, I didn't see anything unexpected in the video.

 

Edit: Prove me wrong by doing this and you'll pique my interest. Not saying that's going to be worth anything, as performance issues in Skyrim are nearly impossible to debug (outside of just removing mods), but still.

You were right. when I disable body morphs on the ini the fps never drops.

 

I think i narrowed down to a few mods to what kept my FPS from going back up after mods would check the body nodes. Before in the video it would stay around 40fps. now when it happens the FPS drop only happens for a few seconds when nodes are checked and the fps goes right back up to 240.

 

The Curse of life scanner, every time that thing runs my fps drops but corrects itself right after. 

 

Edit: I believe it was community shaders. they do not work well with body node changes for some reason. I am going to keep playing/modding and see if the constant fps drop happens again. if not, it was definitely community shaders. FPS still drops when a lover slab mod changes/checks nodes but the fps goes right back up after it is complete. 

 

I also moved back to Regular sexlab as P+ is not compatible with all the mods I want to use.
