tommy58029 Posted October 31, 2025 Posted October 31, 2025 I have installed CBBE v2.0.3, CBPC v1.5.6, CBBE 3BA v2.58 and Bodyslide v5.7.1, I noticed that when in my Bodyslide window I'm missing those xxx_v2 sliders which I think is part of 3BAv2. Like in my Bodyslide legs and feet section it only has the basic sliders while in this 9DM screenshot there are lot xxx_v2 sliders. I wonder if I missed any setup?
belegost Posted October 31, 2025 Posted October 31, 2025 (edited) Make sure 3BA wins all conflicts. No exceptions. The latest version of 3BA is 2.48, not 2.58, CBPC is 1.6.4, not 1.5.6. Edited October 31, 2025 by belegost

There's no sliders named *v2 in 3BAv2 that I'm aware of, unless they were added in 2.48 (I'm using 2.47). Fairly certain the easiest way to spot if you're using 3BA or 3BAv2 is that 3BA's mesh is named "3BBB" whereas 3BAv2 is named "3BA". There's obviously a BS slider count difference between these, which could be easier to spot in BS itself; but I can't name any such sliders off the top of my head. For instance "Labia Protrude2" might only be in 3BAv2. Also keep in mind that the vast majority of outfits that claim to be for 3BAv2 are actually 3BA. I've even seen 3BAv2 outfits that were actually CBBE SMP. I can probably count the number of 3BAv2 outfits I haven't had to rebuild, on one hand.

I did some digging about 3BAv2 and seems like they just chagned the "xxx_v2" slider to other name in BS Like I downloaded this preset: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/129328 which is a 3BAv2 preset In the preset xml it has slider like "BellyFrontDownFat_v2" or "BellyFrontUpFat_v2" which are set to 30. but in the BS they are just called "Front Down Fat" or "Front Up Fat" and they are also set to 30. So I guess I didn't miss anything 😂

Now that's a different story, I didn't know by slider names you mean't the real slider names. I assumed you were looking at the BS slider names. I assume you know this as well, but I'll mention it for posterity: Just because a slider is in a preset does not mean the outfit/body you just built actually has those sliders. It's the same reason why you can build a CBBE body with a 3BA BS slider or the other way around. It will work, but the result might look a bit different. So to put that another way, just because your current preset has v2 sliders, does not mean the outfit/body you just built is 3BAv2.
