Undressable clothing not showing nipples in game.

Hello community!

I don't know if this is the right forum, but I've had a rather annoying problem since installing Adventure Awaits with my human girl Sim. I use several undressable clothing mods in the game. When I'm in CAS, the body anatomy is displayed correctly and I don't experience any display issues. However, when I'm in-game, the nipples aren't displayed in the undressable clothing, showing my Sim in a nude Barbie top. The Sim's vagina is displayed correctly both in CAS and in-game. I remember that with the integration of the body selector, the default mod shows nipples and a vagina without having to add additional body parts (thanks to wild_guy). What could be the problem? Am I missing a file, or is it a bug?

Things I've tried:
Delete all my mods and only use WickedWhisims and undressable clothing.
Delete localsimtexturecache, localtumbcache, and all remaining cache files.
Use a completely new, clean save file with the mods mentioned above.
Reset all nude outfits with the command: ww.fix_all_sims_nude_outfit and ww.fix_all_sims_outfits

I'm using the latest version of WickedWhisims on Patreon, v187.12.

Nude tops such as wild_guy often have their own overlay nipples, but even nude tops are their own clothing, so when the clothing is changed, the texture also changes. This makes it look like a Barbie doll. The workaround is to use a Skin Detail CC with nipples, or a nipple texture (as found in tattoos, skin details, etc.).

Hello, thanks for your answer, I know how it works to use skins with nipples included, but what I mean is that, in later updates of WW I did not need any additional skin or CC for the female genitals to be shown (the ones that come installed in WW itself were shown by default), now with the new update it has stopped doing it, that's why I ask if it has happened to anyone else, or could it be some other file in my game (which I doubt, when making a totally clean savegame only with WW, and the same situation happens to me.)

It is happening to me as well, but slightly different. I am using wild guy's default female body with Blue Craving's NSFW outfits as well as some other clothes that shows genitals. I am able to see female genitals correctly when full nude or go nude on, lets say, upper body, but as soon as I put on any clothes that show genitals directly, textures of the genitals would be gone. I had to use the tattoo work around.

It's all depends on how the undressable clothing is done and on what you use in your game to show intimate details.

Technically all of the clothes are body models with their own textures, so, for example, in your screenshots above the nude top on the left is WW top clothing with nipples texture and when you change it to the undressable top clothing this changes the whole body top model and its texture as well, and since undressable clothing obviously doesn't have nipples texture, you see nothing.

However since nipples area of the undressable is transparent, you might see nipples added along with skin/skin overlays or as separate skin details or tattoos, like in the FBD mod, but looking at your screenshots, you don't use anything like this. That's my guess.

unfortunately, I am using the FBD mod, and as you can see different clothes from different creators would show the breats differently (one with nipples with heights/displacements and the second screenshot does not, though there are little bumps can be seen with side profile (the fourth screenshot). The first screenshot is showing that the FBD mods are loaded, second screenshot is with Blue Craving's NSFW clothes and the third one is from the dream of surrender. none of them are showing nipples as they should for some reason. I did not notice this issue until yesterday.

Additionally, this also applies to vaginas as well

Clothing in Sims 4 is a system that changes not just the polygons of the clothing, but all polygons of the upper body, including naked bodies. The visibility of nipples and other things depends on which polygons of the naked body the CC user chooses. So no matter what you're doing, it's all down to the conditions Wild_guy mentioned...

 

If WW has made any changes to the display of nipples in WW's default settings,
it's possible that the nipple specifications have been changed to avoid collisions with overlay skin.
I'm guessing that the WW default only has a nipple overlay texture on the upper body, but if the nipples are set as part of the body display or tattoo information, the nipple area of the clothing texture is transparent, so the nipples should be displayed.
I haven't taken it apart so I don't know what the specifications are (I use CC's skin detail to display my nipples, so the current specifications are good enough for me,) so you will have to ask Turbo_Driver about that.

 

I realized that the quickest way to solve these problems is to use skin details with nipples.

The reason we don't mind is because we're already using skin details, so if you're playing with very strict CC restrictions, you might need to address this.🤔

I figured it out..... and it has something to do with the load order. As long as FBD is placed before WW, the textures are back, both top and bottom.

I suppose to close this thread, the best thing would be to ask Turbo, because before you could see the genitals and now with the latest WW updates you can't. The solutions they gave regarding FBD are the best alternative if you want the bodies to not look like Barbie dolls.

How did you solve the problem? I tried everything you did, and I even added numbers like 000_ and 001_ before the mod folders to fix the loading order, but the problem still exists.

Hi, it's strange because the FBD details are compatible with this undressable clothing. Which version are you using?

I recommend using the default skin that comes in the same FBD package (this will replace the default Barbie nude for all female Sims in your game). If you don't want this to happen, I suggest using skins that come with their own genitals, like this one: https://www.thesimsresource.com/downloads/details/category/sims4-skintones/title/elpis-skin/id/1340956/

Dont know if this will help but I had that happen awhile back also. Every female sim in my gallery when undressed would look like this.

I found out for my issue it was a custom sim I had downloaded and once I deleted her everything was back to normal. I didnt do any digging

around the custom sim files to see what might have been causing this.
