AutVincereAutMori Posted October 13, 2025 Posted October 13, 2025 Hey everyone, I’ve got a standalone follower that uses a 3BA body, and I’m trying to create a custom BodySlide preset that matches her body shape so I can make outfits that fit her perfectly. Here’s what I’ve done so far: I confirmed she uses 3BA by checking her femalebody_0.nif in NifSkope. I exported her shape from Outfit Studio trying to create an XML to no avail. I used MFBOPC (My Follower Bodyslide Preset Creator) to create a preset folder for her. No SliderPresets folder was created. I found an XML in the files created by MFBOPC. The preset XML appears in my Data folder under: Data\CalienteTools\BodySlide\SliderPresets\MFBOPC\<FollowerName>\ However, the preset doesn’t show up in the BodySlide Preset dropdown at all. I’ve tried moving the XML directly into Data\CalienteTools\BodySlide\SliderPresets\ but nop still nothing. I Any ideas what I might be missing? I’d love to get her 3BA outfits shaped properly to her exact curves. Thanks in advance, everyone
traison Posted October 13, 2025 Posted October 13, 2025 Not seeing anything in MFBOPC that would allow you to create a slider preset out of an already built body mesh. I would inspect that preset it created, as I don't think it contains what you think it does.

This is a custom 3BA body from some other mod? Second, take a look at any of the other slider preset files that come with bodyslide. You'll notice that the files contain exclusively descriptions of each slider and a value for that slider. If your xml file created in MFBOPC doesn't look like that then it likely won't work. Honestly, you might be better off just taking a screenshot of the custom body open in OutfitStudio and then just keep that open as a reference and build a new body by scratch in Bodyslide as close as you can to the custom body you already have. Then you can just save that preset using the "save as" option in Bodyslide. You can just keep building the body, importing it as a outfit with the original custom body as the reference in OutfitStudio, compare them to see what needs changing and then go back to Bodyslide and make the changes, save the slider preset, rinse, repeat. Do that until you can match the custom body. That said, some custom bodies really just can't be duplicated using Bodyslide. The sliders can only affect the base mesh in so many ways with both positive and negative values. As a tip, you can manually enter values into the boxes for each slider. In this way you can get values like 200%, 300% or more. Also the values can be negative. So you could enter a value like -175% and that would work. HOWEVER, even with all this there are just some minute things that the sliders won't perfectly achieve that a custom built body molded in something like Blender or OutfitStudio can. So perhaps you may need to temper your expectations to a near perfect replica of the custom body. 1

I guess I shall try your suggestion. In this case, it seems the least time-consuming approach. Thank you.
