You should be able to choose who is assault-able, just toggle the 'Unassailable' passive on for the characters you don't want to be assaulted by enemies (in your case the male characters) and just don't use the assault ability on targets you don't want to assault - tho tbh you're probably confusing this mod with the Defeat mod, since that mod starts a scenario for the whole party after losing combat iirc.

Now I see what you mean. And yes, there is an option to avoid any character of your party to be assaulted by enemies. But when there is a big battle where there is also allies involved they can be assaulted been males.

 

It seems good to me if you also add penalties when a character is assaulted, just similar to the one used by the Defeat mod. I hope you implement such thing in your mod.
