Anything in the works? This forum looks kinda dead when it comes to tes4 remaster

The difficulty of modding the remaster (because of the combination of Gamebryo and Unreal Engine 5) has made it less likely for people to jump in and start modding, and many also only modded for a short time or gave up. The sex framework, Baking For Mara, is still under development (currently learning the Gamebryo side of the game and how to set stuff up for the Remaster, been delayed because I took a short break from modding and just started up again), but I'm not aware of any active NSFW communities centered specifically on Oblivion Remastered. You're welcome to join our Discord though, The Broken Chatbox ^-^ Not many of us have the game, but there are some people around still very much interested.

 

Unfortunately many have only been posting to Nexus Mods and not here, not sure why exactly that is but I've had mixed results on Nexus and had to change core features of BFM to post there, so you'll still find my works here at least.

i saw a flurry of nsfw mods on nexus when the game came out then nothing.

 

If I understand correctly, the main bottleneck right now is figuring out the sex animation framework (what you are doing)?

I don't believe that 'BFM' is a bottleneck atm, it's VERY capable, even in this really early state. It's still buggier than something fully developed (there's some animation blending stuff I haven't 'fixed' yet, but we have methods to do so when I get around to it now ^-^), but it's capable of whatever people would want to make.

Ultimately, the main bottleneck has just been interest. This week I plan on implementing a combat submit system (similar to combat seduction you can see in Succubus Heart for Skyrim, something super basic) and see how that goes. That said, I've been very slow to get stuff done lately, so idk how long it'll actually take. >.<

I think people just got use to the expansive 'Adults Only' scene for games like Original Oblivion and Skyrim, so moving over to something that doesn't even have a 'dialogue to start the sexy' feels pretty 'bland'.

it took YEARS for all the mods to show up, people just got really used to Skyrim and fallout having tons of NSFW mods because those games been out from half a decade to over a decade.
