Editing Existing Wicked Whims Animations

Hi everyone,

 

I was wondering if there's a way to edit pre-existing wicked whims animations (for my own personal use, not to re-post). I have a few animations that I like from different creators that I would like to tweak, use as a base, or add my own XML to but I haven't been able to find a way to edit them in blender. There's a video from a few years ago that I tried following but that method doesn't work anymore, and I tried asking chatgpt and trying everything it suggested but nothing has worked. I'm hoping someone on here may know and could give me a step-by-step guide. I'd be so grateful, I'm truthfully at my wits end with it.

 

(I've tried to create my own animations in the past but truthfully, I don't have the skill or patience to do it from scratch so please don't just tell me to make my own 😅).
