WW Strip Club: Game Crashes When Designing Stripper Outfit

Everything else in my strip club operates fine. However, when I go to the phone and select the option to design an outfit, the game crashes. Is there a fix that I haven't seen yet? I'm using the latest WickedWhims patreon version

Do you have other mods installed?

If you do - can you test with just WW?

I have the patreon version and have the exact same problem.

 

Doing a 50/50 mod process to to try and find the issue. Will post back results when I find it (if I can).

Only mod in the mods folder is WW, latest install for 4 Oct. Localthumbcache deleted. Sims 4 crashes, just closes on selecting the design female employee outfit in the phone menu.

 

I don't get a last exception. I just get a crash report text file. I might install TwistedMexi better exceptions again and see if it will spit out something useful, unless @Husk you think the crash report is useful?

 

Will jump into Patreon to have look at comments as well.

Also tried a clean save, just WW and TMEX BE, same result. No exception file, just crash report.

Got everything working again. Could not find the culprit. I'm thinking it was a bad save file on one of the latest WW strip club. Once I removed that and did a 50/50 reinstall of mods everything worked. I can't offer any help identifying the cause.

Okay, identified the mod for me that was causing the trouble, and it was 'SMSims Eve 10'. It only affected the 'design a female employee' uniform. I didn't have Eve applied to a Sim either. I assume something in that mod is conflicting with the CAS all from the phone perhaps.

SM Sims Eve was also the issue for me. I saw someone else say that was the issue for them and as soon as I took it out, I was able to design the outfits just fine.

i dont see the SMSims eve 10 in my folder. where did you get it?

TurboDriver wickedwhims extra skin tones was the issue for me. I did the 50/50 method on all my mods and it came down to that one. Once I disabled it and tried again with assigning outfits it worked for me. If you have this mod try doing what I did @blooperzie

Broken for me too - Vanilla install (removed the whole Electronic arts folder, no possible conflicts with any settings/cache and/or saves, all fresh - only mod installed is the latest WickedWhims on the latest nov 2025 version. 

 

Steps to reproduce- buy a strip club - design a (fe)male outfit through phone - Crash. Tested on Windows 11 Steam, Windows 11 EA, Macos Intel EA, Macos Silicon EA. All crash when entering the CAS from the design a.. interaction on the phone. 

 

Same thing happened on the oct update, but then it was EVE 9.2 which was doing something to cause the crash. Eve 10 fixed this. But on the nov update - no such luck - even vanilla settings/no mods on new game - all crash when using the design a (fe)male outfit through phone. 

 

PS. The logs attached include animations downloaded from WickedWhims. Also test without - again, all vanilla - still crash in the combination of  The Sims 4 version 1.119.109.1220 / WickedWhims v185d

Anyone having an issue with the employees? Mine keep disappearing after hiring. I try to assign them an outfit and it says no employees available

I found my fix... sort of. 

 

I thought it might be something related to skin tones, so I went through those and all the other skin details. After moving files in and out of folders and the recycle bin, it seemed to resolve itself somehow, even though I didn't end up deleting anything. 

 

Still confused, but happy it's working.

update for 24/12/25

 

i was receiving this same issue & realised i had evev 9.2 mentioned above in my mods folder so i removed it & now it's all working.

Having the same issue here. Entirely vanilla game besides WW and still crashes when going into the “Design Female Outfit” dialogue. Did anyone ever find a solution to this?

I figured it out for me at least. I didn't realize I had to assign a female outfit (the generic bra and panties) before you can design a female outfit.
