Whicked Whims isn't working - Won't load households just goes to maps

I've gone around and moved every single mod, same issue, household will not load and I get booted to the world maps menu. After 4 days, finally come to find it is the latest whickedwhims update, any chance there's a patch for this around the corner?

How did you find it was the latest WickedWhims update?

Have you tested the game with just WW, no other mods?

this is also happening to me, deleted all other script mods, deleted and redownloaded, but it seemed nothing worked

Deleted and redownloaded... what exactly? WW? All mods?

Are you on the v185b version? Because I had no issues with it.

What I did have issues with, is other script mods. Maxis made it so functions now need additional arguments, and so I had to manually fix a good few dozen files. Here's the summary:

So, as far as I'm aware, the changes made to scripting in the latest patch - while devastating to older mods - are mostly fairly minute, like, it's needing an extra argument to be added or something... I dunno, I'm a total noob when it comes to python.

So I'd say yes, it's certainly possible; you could unpack the ts4scripts, then de-compile the compiled pyc files into editable py ones, fix them, then re-compile the whole thing back to a script.

For me, the problem seemed to be AEP (the pornstar career thing that never really works anyway). I didn't realize it runs scripts. I tried deleting just that, and once I did things worked again. 

 

Unfortunately before I realized that, I reorganized my entire mods folder so now everything works except all the penises are striped like zebras. So it's all broken, but in a different way. 

 

I'm so sick of EA constantly updating the game and breaking the mods.
