Robert T Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 I just did a fresh reinstall of Skyrim and am in the process of re-adding my mods, however, I can't seem to find the cause of the start up crash. Here is my papyrus log I made sure that none of my mods are missing any requirements, but something could have slipped my mind. http://pastebin.com/d3hLfkS9
Robert T Posted January 18, 2014 Author Posted January 18, 2014 Yes, here is my load order. http://pastebin.com/kQiFy4hH
Uriel Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Reinstall SKSE. You might be missing the SKSE's scripts.
Robert T Posted January 18, 2014 Author Posted January 18, 2014 If it were only that simple, I just double checked to see if skse is properly installed- yup it is.
Uriel Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 I just removed a couple of scripts that come with SKSE, and guess what? Uriel Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Again, those scripts come with SKSE in the Data/Scripts/ subfolder. And they are supposed to be installed with SKSE. And it does not seem to be your case. Those scripts are used by SKSE to extend Papyrus functionality, so SKSE based mods can use functions added by SKSE.
Robert T Posted January 18, 2014 Author Posted January 18, 2014 There has to be another issue, I've re-installed SKSE twice already with all the scripts and everything else needed, but still have the same errors.
Uriel Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Are you doing it manually? Some mod managers are kinda bad with this.
Uriel Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Check if you have Form.pex and HeadPart.pex in your Skyrim/Data/Scripts folder. Those are probably responsible for the first error message in your log.
Robert T Posted January 18, 2014 Author Posted January 18, 2014 Yup, they are there. I do't think skse is the problem here.
Robert T Posted January 19, 2014 Author Posted January 19, 2014 Does anyone else know of a possible solution?
Uriel Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 Well, try to start your Skyrim without SKSE. Just run TESV.exe, then quit and post a log. Do you have an antivirus running?
Veladarius Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 Of the Devious Devices esp's, Integration needs to be before the other esp's as the other mods use it as a master.
Robert T Posted January 19, 2014 Author Posted January 19, 2014 I rearranged the esps, but the crashing persists. However, the papyrus log is saying this now. [01/19/2014 - 11:17:26AM] Papyrus log opened (PC) [01/19/2014 - 11:17:26AM] Update budget: 1.200000ms (Extra tasklet budget: 1.200000ms, Load screen budget: 500.000000ms) [01/19/2014 - 11:17:26AM] Memory page: 128 (min) 512 (max) 76800 (max total)
Uriel Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 Are you sure you have no .esp's with missing masters?
Robert T Posted February 7, 2014 Author Posted February 7, 2014 Well, the previous issue was fixed due to NMM messing with a few files. However, today when I started up skyrim there was yet another instant CTD. Nothing new has been added since I last played. The log only has this. [02/06/2014 - 11:44:38PM] Papyrus log opened (PC) [02/06/2014 - 11:44:38PM] Update budget: 1.200000ms (Extra tasklet budget: 1.200000ms, Load screen budget: 500.000000ms) [02/06/2014 - 11:44:38PM] Memory page: 128 (min) 512 (max) 76800 (max total)
judge0 Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 I'm may be stupid, but . . . Doesn't Devious Devices require ZAZAnimation pack 5.4? You don't seem to have it in your Load Order . . . Are you sure all your mods have all required dependencies?
Robert T Posted February 9, 2014 Author Posted February 9, 2014 That was the previous problem, but it's fixed now. However crash problems have arisen now for no clear reason and this is the new log. [02/06/2014 - 11:44:38PM] Papyrus log opened (PC) [02/06/2014 - 11:44:38PM] Update budget: 1.200000ms (Extra tasklet budget: 1.200000ms, Load screen budget: 500.000000ms) [02/06/2014 - 11:44:38PM] Memory page: 128 (min) 512 (max) 76800 (max total)
