How do I?

I have my character set up like I want her, but now I want to do my follower, Marcurio.  He's my character's husband since early on, with two adopted kids, used to be stuck at home but now he's back to adventuring with me, and is my favorite follower.  However, I feel he needs his own makeover.  I would greatly appreciate any help on the steps of how to do this, and where to go to get it done.  Thanks so much!

You have two choices. You can alter him manually (and that's a bit of work). Or you can download and install a NPC overhaul type of mod (like "Inhabitants of Skyrim") and the necessary mods to go with it.

How do I alter him manually?  Would it be the same way as I did with my character and it reflects on him?  Also, is there a special menu or something to fully edit him or not?  Sorry, learning the ropes here, so lots of questions.

Like Gvman said, if you don't want to go through the whole manual process, just search the Nexus for a Marcurio replacer. Work is already done for you.

One of my favorites is Vampiric Marcurio. Or if you want a compilation, the one Gvman recommended is a good one as well. Another good one is The Hirelings by Netherwalk. Which does several of the followers, along with Marcurio.

Otherwise, get an NPC Editor or learn the Creation Kit and make your own to your liking.

So I'm finishing up a quest in a mod I'm soon to be releasing but I'm confused on how to write the script for the final part of the quest. I would like it set up like the "Blood's Honour Quest" where you have to kill all the people (Bandits and Warden) before you move to the next objective. I took a look at the scripts in the "Bloods Honour Quest" but couldn't make heads or tails of the blasted thing and I'm not sure what to write for scripts. I was thinking of the kill actor script then it adds 1 stage to the quest stages up until they are all dead, then plays the next objective but again, I'm not sure how to write that language. Any help would much be appreciated.
