WW Inappropriate Unlock Not Working Completely

So I have the Inappropriate Unlock mod for WW for Sims 4, right, and up until now everything seemed to be working as intended - teen sex works, relationships between adults and teens outside their household works, etc.  but for some reason the incest stuff isn't working right.  Both sims are set up for it, they have the appropriate traits (incest trait for both, post-puberty for the teen), and they both find one another attractive with the attractiveness settings I set up for both, they're both flirty at each other, THAT'S working.  But whenever I try to get either of them to be Romantic to each other, or try to click on the floor/furniture and such to see if sex is an option, the menu buttons for them just - don't turn up at all.  I've even tried going into the relationship utilities and just turning on incest for all sims, and removing and then adding a sim from the household again to see if it works, and it just doesn't.

 

Anyone know what the issue might be?  All the other parts of the mod seem to work just fine, its just the incest stuff that apparently isn't working.

because I play Sims like I'm writing a story, and some stories just need a really fucked-up villain for someone else to beat up/otherwise take down

Well it works just fine for me and I use the incest feature all the time on certain families/sims.

 

I'm assuming you have all the correct WW settings selected so it could be another mod preventing it from working.

I'd try removing all your other mods/cc for testing first.

Just use WW + Animations along with the Inappropriate Unlock.

Don't make any new saves with Mods/cc removed, just exit when done testing.

(This way you know it's not an external problem unrelated to WW)

(You can play around more with WW settings if it still doesn't work) 

(Add the 'Sexually Alluring' trait reward to your male sim, I just use MCCC to cheat reward points)

 

Can those two sims do all the romance interactions with each other?

(Pink Romance Bar high level)

 

Have you tried playing any other households with incest traits added?

 

Do Teens+Teens, like brother and sister, work when you play another household?

 

Make sure you have both sims gender preferences set to match in CAS too.

If one of them prefers the same sex it won't work.

 

I keep my 'Inappropriate Unlock' file inside my WickedWhimsMod folder.

If WW Autonomy is enabled they should go at it automatically without manual interactions.

Tried this and it worked!  Romance interactions now work, as do sex interactions.  Just had to remove a few mods first.  Thanks for the help!

2. What the mod considers a 'sex interaction' is somewhat of a YMMV situation. Without the IU mod (and the Incest attribute ticked), they won't even 'Watch Sex' with a relative. If in doubt, watch the Dellai twins, the Fox twins, the Milton twins, etc., doing a three-way scene without ever actually getting technically incestuous. I toyed with the concept of a 'Moms Teach Sex' scenario (without the idiotic 'step' qualifier), which I imagine as Sexpertise with Mentoring. It almost works if you can cherry pick (no pun intended) the right animations, and properly utilize the 'Watch Sex' interaction.

 

In order to do any of the above, you have to turn all the Incest stuff on, and then turn sex autonomy off (so you have full control over what they do and with whom). So just because the IU mod is being used, it does not necessarily follow that someone is doing "Taboo Tales of West Virginia" (cue banjo music).

Regarding the OP's question, I've run into a bunch of different things that can prevent two particular sims from getting busy with one another. It might have nothing to do with the IU mod at all. It could be gender preference, sexual orientation, attractiveness settings, Polyamory (or the lack thereof). When I create a sim in CAS, I set all the orientation/preference stuff the way I want it. Days or weeks later, something (no idea what) changes one or more of the tick boxes for no fathomable reason, and suddenly my sim stops being DTF.

 

Sometimes I've noticed that certain attribute/trait changes don't take effect unless you exit the household and re-enter, especially if you add/remove them with MCCC.

 

Also, keep track of where you put those pesky "No Sex in Room/On Lot" invisible signs, which can be invisible even in build mode if you hang a painting or push a bookcase in front of it.

 

Here's an oldie but a goodie; My sim pair would get to banging on every surface in my house except the couch. I eventually discovered that this very awesome couch CC I downloaded from somewhere was using a accent table tuning, and that was the reason my sims refused to screw on it.
