It might have broken with the latest patch. I'll take a look.

I figured it out. Kijiko's eyelashes remover were interfering with it. Sorry for the false alarm, I should've checked more thoroughly.

do you have any plans to create a non-ww, non-default version? i tried making one myself with the non-ww default files, but they either don't show up in cas at all or (in the case of the bottom mesh) break around the sims' feet

Yip, working on it currently.

Do I have to use EVE clothing? because the shift from default clothing to EVE body is quite noticeable

You don't have to, but it is recommended.

This was causing my MALE sims to have breasts poking out of their chests, giving my male sims deformed chests and two sets of nipples. I went into S4S and ticked on "restrict opposite gender" and "restrict opposite frame" on a whim and it seems to have fixed it, in case anyone else having this problem.

Noted and will be fixed in next update. I thought I already checked the tags, but for whatever reason they didn't save.

You'll find it in the bodyselector in-game from the pie menu.

As per above comment, it seems there is a potential conflict with the eyelash remover. Either way, it's noted and I'm looking into it.

You can still use the WW version if you don't use WW and it will just work as normal items of clothing in your game.

Feedback:

- skin is okay but destroys basegame tattoos.

- nipples are grotesquely huge

- Eve 10 body shapes are horrible, why does everyone hate slim sims with a normal butt nowadays?

- Is your body shape the reason for the tit bug? (Depending on which outfit my sim wears, her tits are oranges or watermelons)

- the bottom part is the ugliest I have tried so far

- Since installing I keep meeting undressed NPCs because you forgot to make the nude bottom unavailable for random.

Your link to the hq one seems dead again and I'm also not seeing a download for merged for WW users.

Download it from the main download here instead. I'm not sure why it's not working on this thread post, the site currently times out whenever I try to update it.

- Happens with all solid overlays to date thanks to the way the game works. I do have a transparent overlay version coming out next month that works with tatoos, but you will probably hate it.

- According to S4S flags, all parts are correctly assigned unavailable for random. However, there are some issues with occult randomization flags that I'm aware of that must be altered in CASTools. Unfortunately, that program has been broken until recently (technically I think it is still broken, but we are all using a random version Andrew put in Github issue chat 3 weeks ago).

Hey! This is just an idea, as I have no modding experience. But can you make an override in CAS like the one currently in-game, but have it as leggings? This way, EVE will be present even with pants on. Again, this is just an idea and probably does work. :D

The body mesh's UV map seems to be incompatible with body overlay mods that alter the abdomen and hip areas. I know it's too much to ask, but is it possible for you to align the geos' UV map to the default body (I'm assuming this game doesn't support meshes with multiple UVs)?

Skin overlays won't work properly if the clothing mods come with a custom skin. They're visible "even with pants on" if no custom skin textures are assigned to the garments. I don't make sims 4 mods myself, so I'm just speaking from experience

Any update on the transparent update? Will that allow us to us skintones with EVE as an overlay? Thats the dream for me, Maxis EVE!

Hi! Thank you for your hard work (all of you!). EVE v10 looks amazing and I can't wait to see your navel piercings, if you do end up making them (and I'm seconding the more intimate piercings, like someone already requested/mentioned here)

I don't know if this is a known issue, but this is what it defaults to on male sims when removing clothing in CAS.

My game is up to date and I'm not using WW. I tried testing it without the rest of my CC and it still persisted.

I didn't understand what you were saying, but does this mean that EVE's textures will take priority over other overlay textures? That's my guess.
This is really a matter of preference, and I think EVE intentionally sets the textures high to achieve the optimal balance, so it really comes down to what SMsims wants to do,
but EVE10 has a high sorting layer set, so no matter which overlay skin you use, EVE's textures will take priority.

I think lowering this value to around 800 or 1100 will probably solve the problem.

Similarly, this texture created in collaboration with EVE is incredibly useful and can be used meaningfully on skins other than EVE, so I'm happy with it, but the sorting is probably in the same position as the pants, so there's some block noise. I think this can be resolved to some extent by lowering it a little (however, there's also the issue that the sort is lowered by the skin detail, so this texture can't be seen, so it's a difficult balance to strike).

This issue does not seem to be resolved as long as you are using the alpha skin, so please ignore it.

The specific details of this issue are the same as in this thread.

Hi

Questions around the Piercings, not sure if I'm doing it wrong.

If I add on the Eve V10 to the sim in CAS (so I can see what it looks like), I can add in the piercings and they work and look exactly as expected (great work). However, if I then put my Sims normal clothing back on, the piercings are sitting outside of the clothing in CAS.

Is there a trick to getting them to work with clothing so they only display when nude?

Clothing created in EVE10 is required. Normal clothing modifications are made from normal nakedness, and SMsims' past costumes were made in EVE9.2, etc., so the position of the nipples varies depending on the clothing. To link with clothing, wear clothing made with accessories, or wear piercings made in EVE9.2 (the most common) and clothing.

Sorry for being  a Noob, but can anyone give help on how I use the Eve V10 mesh?

In CAS, i can add the new body mesh by adding it as a clothing selection. This works fine, and looks great, but obviously I loose the look all together when I then change to add clothing, so it's impossible to see what it will actually look like.  Then when I exit CAS, i don't get the EVE look, I get the standard look.

Is there a trick to getting this to work? I'm also trying to add the piercings, but again, everything I try makes the piercing go outside of the clothing. Even when using EVE specific clothing (unless I'm also doing that wrong).

Can anyone provide a SIM I can see that been created so I can see how you've done it?

Thanks

Please provide your sim. In this situation, it looks like you're saying that it's fine to add EVE10 naked in cas, but if you make any other changes the clothing won't change.
In short, the sim's state is naked, so it looks like you need to specify this EVE10 in the body selector, but have you done that? The naked results in cas and the body selector results may differ.

OK thanks, I've changed the body parts in WW, is that what you mean?

I looked at the cas, but there was no sign of it being attached to clothing.

By any chance, do you want the piercings to be deployed when you're naked? This works by wearing EVE10's naked body and piercings as everyday clothing. To make it work as naked, you'll need to tweak tuning and body mesh. (It would be so much easier if WW, Nisa, and Critical had the ability to permanently attach piercings to naked bodies.)

hi, somebody probably already reported this, but I always have this tiny framerror when using your body overlay. I use the latest version (the one labeled with framefix) but I still get it. also, do you perhaps plan the transparent overlay without the face overlay? would love to see my body tattoos in full again. thanks for your work!
