Best empty plot.

Hello there. I'm looking to do a rags to riches into a generational playthough and wondering what plot(s) you think are the best for this? From my limited research of hoping in and out of empty plots, I can't find a decent one. Either it has all the features for a good long term playthrough but it's surrounded by empty space like just uninterruptible grasslands or fake houses  or it is around a of intractables like other houses but is a 20x15. Would normally be posting this on the reddit but due to their stupid "you must have 50 karma on this subreddit to make posts" requirement, I'm asking here.

I always use the the empty Ravenwood plot from "life and Death" DLC - Its 64x64 and in a quiet area, there are a few houses dotted about, but no really busy areas.

Once you start building or downloading homes from the gallery, you can build big and have a massive garden to play with.

Basegame-wise, Oasis Springs has a few of the biggest plots in populated areas, and you are probably well aware of the corner plot opposite the BFF house in Willow Creek.

You could also look at big plots with houses on them in an area that suits your needs and flat out bulldoze the lot and start with an empty plot anywhere you choose with the "manage worlds" feature. You can always replace what you've deleted via the gallery if you decide to move in the future or change your mind.

Are you playing with rules that say you can't move once you've made money?  I start games in Spring in the Foundry Cove neighborhood, harvest snapdragon and strawberry on day 2 and plant them, first order of business is Gardening level 5.  Graft those together as soon as possible, plant the dragonfruits packed together under a roof, and am quite wealthy in a couple of weeks.  Then I decide where this sim actually wants to live.

I like to start on Mid-Nowhere from Get Together. Its on the island (lower left on the map) where the Bjergsen's and Bros live. There are two bushes (one for sleep, one for peeing), two fishing spots, and a bunch of places to dig for treasures/collectables.

Can't remember the lot size, but it might be a bit small for your purposes.

You could always kick Johnny Zest out of his trailer and use that plot.

I always found that spot to be the perfect plot for this kind of thing. Not surrounded by high end looking housing, enough space to start off small and grow exponentially. Enough pedestrian traffic to feel like part of a city without being smack dab in the middle of a city. It's a fairly large plot for its location. And you can just use the pre-built trailer if you wanted. Although, a mansion might look out of place down there, but then again it would make sense for a person to move to a new plot once they passed a certain income threshold.
