Failing to launch for 4 days now

A day after the big bug update that made all scripts fail, i got a failed to launch msg.

EA says its their fault. its been 4 days now, still getting the same msg.

Are we waiting for an update to fix this or do i need to re-install everything?

I was getting the same error on the 19th.  Even though the error message says it's "on their end", it isn't. That's just boilerplate. A Mod is doing that. You just have to find out which one.

In part, is on EA's end. They've identified The For Rent package as being a major contributor. Still not ruling out mods, however. So, If you've been through everything (50/50 sort, updates, etc) and it still isn't working, then trying playing with For Rent unselected. If that doesn't work ....  go through your mods folder and make sure you have nothing doubled up or more than one folder deep (at least that's what TwistedMexi's Better Exceptions is telling me). If you're still having issues after that .... EA/Maxis have right royally fucked up!!!!!

Took a day but i found the culprit! its the Micael's Pee Mod. if u have it delete it!

evidently the 50/50 thing is the only way to find what mod it is.There are a bunch of them
