PC Naughty Gamer Posted August 26, 2025 Posted August 26, 2025 Not sure how real this is considering it's coming from the Reddit Rumor Mill so unless there's some truth behind it, you might want to treat it with a grain of salt Nonetheless here it goes... 🙄 https://www.reddit.com/r/Sims4/s/SedpXHSu5V
mynewusername Posted August 26, 2025 Posted August 26, 2025 it is possible since a ts4script is a zipped python program, but isn't common.
DuoMaxwell003 Posted August 27, 2025 Posted August 27, 2025 That Reddit thread is 2 years old. It was when there were creator accounts getting hacked and and malware/virus were being planted in files. Since that time Twisted Mexi had created a virus detector that some people still use today. To my knowledge there has not been any large scale attempts like there was then.
Oops19 Posted September 26, 2025 Posted September 26, 2025 Users should think twice before installing a script mod. A script mod has full control over the PC and can delete all files, download and upload files, ... https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/22200-privacy-protector/ - the 1st and most complete protector which blocks also (malware) downloads. Twisted Mexi code looks very similar, likely because it works exactly like this one and hopefully not because it is a clone of this one. Here we had some sims or CC which would require to enable script mods with a malware downloader in a ts4script file.
