JayTongue Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 Alright so here I am yet again and this time I've run into an issue with Mod Organizer, here's the back story. I moved on from NMM and decided to tinker around with Mod Organizer since wiping everything Skyrim related to start fresh with mods. I had an issue with Steam so I had to delete all the folders in that directory except for SteamApps and steam.exe to fix the problem (not sure if related but I mention this just in case). Since then when I open up Mod Organizer and select SKSE to run through the executable it tells me this http://i.imgur.com/sZb276b.png  The thing is, I have Steam up and I can access the store, not sure what the issue is there. When I hit 'no' Mod Organizer closes itself and opens up the Skyrim launcher through Steam, huh? After this I opened up the program again but this time I select "yes", a new dialogue box pops up and says "Waiting. Please press OK once you're into steam." I hit okay then it closes itself and opens Skyrim, WAT.  I get that same dialogue box from the imgur link I posted when I run BOSS as an executable. I select "yes" then it asks me to press okay when I log into steam, I hit okay and it launches BOSS.  I have no idea what went wrong, and this had to happen right after I got BodySlide 2 downloaded so I could create a nice body. I deleted the entire Mod Organizer folder in a panic and re-installed it but these issues are still coming up. If anyone knows about this then please chime in and let me know what is going on and how to rectify this situation.
CGi Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 Check the remember box and hit yes. MO does not check if Steam is already running so this message is more a note so you know what's going on.
JayTongue Posted January 15, 2014 Author Posted January 15, 2014 I did that just now and I still get that dialogue box saying "Waiting, press okay once you're logged into Steam." Which I never got before, plus I try launching Skyrim through SKSE via Mod Organizer but it doesn't, it opens up the Skyrim launcher so I feel like there's something wrong still that I am unaware of.
CGi Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 Try to start MO with administrator rights by using the context menu (right mouse button) and choosing "Run as administrator".
JayTongue Posted January 15, 2014 Author Posted January 15, 2014 That worked, thank you so much. I feel dumb now though because it was pretty simple to take care of that, now I want to ask how to get the program to always run as admin, I looked up a few ways to do so but none of them have worked for some reason.
CGi Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 Context menue -> Properties -> Tab "Compatibility" -> check "Run as admin". it's globaly saved for this executable and the used account then and will always be used.
JayTongue Posted January 15, 2014 Author Posted January 15, 2014 Beautiful, well back to business, thanks for the help CGi
