Detaches SWP Side Effects from the pregmod mod, with some personal changes. All changes from the original mod are below.

Note: Obviously, do NOT use together with pregmod.
Do NOT post bug-reports from this mod in the pregmod thread. This is its own fork, with its own bugs.

 

Compatibility
Obviously, do not use together with pregmod.
Compatible with Creampie Overhaul (and required for Fecund Pheromones side-effect) https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/38834-creampie-overhaul/ (Standalone one - not pregmod version)

Incompatibile with mods that change or replace the sperm defense minigame.
Mostly compatible with Kokopelli's Servant - except for the Ultra Virile side effect. When using Kokopelli's Servant, with the Ultra Virile side effect, the extra dialogue from making girls cum is replaced in favour of that mod.

 

Changes (to pregmod version):
- Does not include pregmod.
- Nanobots side-effect is also gained from taking a NanoBots Birth Control Treatment.
- Some side-effects now modifies the difficulty of the sperm defense minigame in different ways.
- Side-effects from nanobots now on a separate line from the normal side-effects. (in Stats page)
- Most male side-effects enhancements now have a female side-effect which replaces it, when the other side-effect is acquired.

Hung <-> Size Queen
Enduramax <-> Hair Trigger
Sex Panther <-> Heat
Super Steroids <-> Ultra Tight
Deep Cognition <-> Confirmed Submissive

 

Side effect changes: (mostly due to removal of pregmod)

• Ultra Tight: Now exclusive to Super Steroids
• Two in the Chamber: Now gives you a random amount of pleasure after orgasm (1-9), instead of a fixed 5
• Thirsty Cervix: (Old effect removed due to pregmod requirement) Now gives a flat increase to base fertility while female. Also causes sperm defence minigame to spawn faster enemy sperm. (Replaces normal sperm with fast sperm)
• Super Steroids: No longer uncaps fitness. Now you gain a random passive amount of fitness every night.
• Stretchy Womb: (Old effect removed due to pregmod requirement) Now causes sperm defence minigame to spawn stronger enemy sperm. (Replaces normal sperm with strong sperm)
• Paragon of Femininity: No longer requires Bubble Butt. Now requires less than 10 masculinity (instead of 20)
• Semen Demon (compulsion): Can now be lost by gaining Crimson Absorber (new side-effect).
• Ribbed Throat: Can now be lost by gaining Crimson Absorber (new side-effect)
• Sex Panther: No longer has any effect when female.
• Heat: (Old effect reworked) Now exclusive with Sex Panther, only works when female. Pheromone effectiveness is now based on pregnancy chance. (instead of ovulation cycle). Forces your parter's primal instinct to cum inside if your arousal is above 5. Additionally reduces your fire rate in sperm defense (by 25%)
• Hair Trigger: Now exclusive to Enduramax, and only works when female.
• Fecund Pheromones: (Old effect removed due to pregmod requirement) Now requires Creampie mod (due to the way tags are set up). Now triggers when pregnancy chance is very low or very high (but not on breeder pill), and already has Heat trait. Now also increase partner amount of spurts, in addition to the cum amount. Additionally reduces the blast radius of sperm defense minigame.
• Extra Fertile: (Old effect removed due to pregmod requirement) Now requires an average of 1 creampie for 4 days straight to acquire. The counter is reduced each day (so a day without won't reset the counter fully - 5 creampies over 7 days would also work, or 6 over 9 days, etc.) Increases pregnancy chance in all stages.
• Excitable Ovaries: (Old effect removed due to pregmod requirement) Now increases fertility every orgasm, on top of the normal fertility. Depending on your number of orgasms, it might take several days to revert to the normal fertility. Additionally modifies sperm defense; egg walls will be reduced to only the inner layer.
• Enduramax: Only works while being male.
• Deep Cognition: Now you gain a random passive amount of intellect every night.
• Crimson Absorber (new side effect) Gained from having Semon Demon, and not drinking cum for an long time. (Causing withdrawal to spike) Replaces Semon Demon when gained. Since you're not satisfying your addiction, the nanobots now try a different approach. You get withdrawal effects from not being creampied. Also causes you to orgasm on creampie.
• Rapid Cycle (Removed due to incompatibility)
• Other side-effects are unchanged.

Note: If both Stretchy Womb and Thirsty Cervix are active, there will be a mix of fast and strong sperm. Fast sperm will also double their health.

 

Note: This mod has changes to the Sperm Defense minigame, and other things. Any code changes contained in this mod is free to use for other projects.

This sounds great. I was always excited by the side effects pregmod offers, but was torn on the changes to pregnancy mechanics. And the few times I tried playing with pregmod, there always seemed to be bugs that prevented me from enjoying it. Like being impossible to impregnate, last time I tried. I'm looking forward to try this mod.

I love that someone did this. I'm not good with code or would have done it myself, because I hated having to choose between

male playthrough = kokopelli's servant

female playthrough = pregmod

Had an issue where on windows 11, it thought due to the fact the file ended in 1.1.2 that the .2 was the file extension.
can you specifically name it with .xcl on the end? this fixed it for me.

 

maybe it's only me, but this would prevent issues going forward.

 

I also had some issues with pregmod sometimes stopping impregnations so looking forward to trying this out.

Not tested yet. Also thanks for some of the info of what some of the stuff actually does.

For me 1.1.1 breaks the sex stats menu. That could be a mod conflict or maybe you've fixed it later, not checked yet but thought I'd report in case it's easy to reproduce

Same issue as rahlub of sex stats reset and they don't increase either. pregnancies does work.

also a lot of the triggers don't seem to be firing.

 

nanobots_creampies will not increase and nanobots_daily_creampie also doesn't increase no matter how hard you try.

This means probably amongst others stretchy womb/extra fertile/excitable ovaries and heat will never trigger.

Perhaps it's only on my file, don't think i'd have any conflicts. never seen stretchy, but extra fertile/excitable ovaries do work on the original pregmod

    I’m extremely stupid when it comes to mods so I apologize if there’s an obviously answer to this issue;

    I’ve downloaded the file twice, I see it in my downloads. When I try to add it with the mod loader, I can’t find it. It’s just invisible to the mod loader.

    Again, I’m ignorant. So if there’s a simple fix to this, I apologize for wasting everyone’s time, and please feel free to publicly shame me lol.

The downloaded file should have the xcl file extension, though you may have file extensions hidden in windows file browser.

Is it also invisible if you pick all files in the files of type dropdown in the mod loader? (I'm not sure what the mod loader will do with the file if the extension is wrong but changing to all files should at least make it selectable.)

Have you previously installed other mods?

I too was missing the extension when I first downloaded. I just added the .xcl and it loaded fine. Idk if it was a server issue or something but it downloads properly now.l

How do you get the side effects to trigger?  Do you have to do ridiculous amounts of things to get them?  Do they just randomly show up like side effects in real life (2% of men experience xyz..."?)  Do they trigger if the character has been permanently changed because of a previous pregnancy?

I'm not the author but the first thing you need to do is go to the mall and go to the executive lounge as a male, i would suggest buying everything as this helps them get replaced with feminine ones if that's what you're trying to achieve. A few will start happening as soon as 1x is bought and you become female and start doing female things. I'll give one example, if you buy hung whilst male, become female and orgasm 3 times on a big dick (18+ i think 10/10 defo works, balls shouldnt matter) it gets replaced with size queen

So if you're permanently female, probably not. In the executive lounge it says you can pay 50k for Venus line, this currently doesn't work, no option appears after having 50k.

Again i'm not author, but lets clarify, so you click engage defense, does the game load? or does clicking on the screen at the sperm not fire a red laser which goes boom? firing can mean both in this instance.

I don't think this mod is to blame for either as both work for me with no issues and i have a few other mods.

 

some of my own feedback:

I tested out getting excitable ovaries/extra fertile/heat by cheesing the code and given i've not changed anything else but giving me those, i have a pregnancy chance of about 1000% so all creampies are guarantees and it doesn't go under 100%. This all worked correctly with pregmod so it appears to be this coding.

Problem is likely to lie entirely with extra fertile. i'll try and verify.

Heat does work as intended other than the 1000% fertility (minigame change, flavour text and forced creampies)

Excitable ovaries works as intended other than the 1000% fertility (minigame change, increased pregnancy chance per orgasm)

Amazon does not seem to replace super steroids as the strength gain specifically states its from super steroids, not sure if this was intentional but given the description it doesn't look like it, the increased horniness is working correctly though.

Fecund pheromones works correctly

Submissive Sissy works correctly

Confirmed Submissive works correctly

Size queen works correctly

think that's as far as i've got with it

 

As mentioned in the first reply, the venus line doesn't appear to exist. Would be nice to pay 10k to just buy anything you wanted to try out which would make testing also significantly easier and allow those such as the first comment to mess around with the mod from an old file.

I was also having issues with the defense game. I'd hit the button and it would disappear, but the minigame wouldn't popup. I had to disable the Creampie Overhaul mod for it to work. I did try to reinstall it (both the standalone version AND the one with Pregmod [just to try]) but neither worked.

I have issue where I when I buy dick size upgrade in Mutatio it doesn't increase size above 7 in all stats. Turning this mod off fixes it. I remember it being problem before in pregmod.

So  I will never get any side effects untilI get $50k and go to the Executive Lounge and it's a "take your chances" thing for the male,, then?  I suppose that gives us a reason to accrue that much money.

unfortunately you misread my post a little. The 50k option doesn't exist. the game says that exists if you go there as a female but i've cheated to get 50k and the option doesn't show up and no sign of anything in the code. As far as i'm aware the only way to get the side effects as a permanent female would be to modify the code.

This generally isn't that hard to do and once you've given yourself the side effects you want you can then remove what you changed. with notepad++ could give you a quick rundown of how to do that if you'd like.

So there seems to be an issue with the latest update (0.23.5) in that the Compulsions for things like Semon Demon will duplicate. So instead of showing one instance of it there are 50 of them filling the list.
