Mcdan Posted July 27, 2025 Posted July 27, 2025 So for a while I had this issue with the player turning transparent win the middle of scenes randomly (sometimes it happens, and sometimes it doesn't) and I can't figure out what it is from. I tried to look through the effects / spells of the character using More Informative Console, but nothing stood out. It's weird because it happens on both male and female PCs (not on NPCs though) and it also doesn't make them fully invisible. Also, this happens without any changes in the MCM for mods that reset on each playthrough. Tried checking SL Separate Orgasms, it is not at fault. (Disabled it and it still happened) Extra info: The scenes that have the problem start with the player invisible and at some point they turn invisible, not necessarily on stage change. I'm thinking it might be some mod that allows you to have more focus on the partner for sex like some x-ray thing IDK. A suspicion I had was Sexual fame, or anything that deals with NPCs noticing the act.
eflat01 Posted July 28, 2025 Posted July 28, 2025 First what Skyrim ver? I've the same issue occasionally. I found usually I can zoom out to prevent that from happening when SL engages the third person float camera. However, It's not just SexLab it's seems prevalent where there's a lot going on with numerous npcs using high-poly heads - they may blink in/out. I went looking how to deal with issue and found a post stating that the use of Faster HDT-SMP... There’s been some invisibility issues surrounding that mod, particularly with certain high poly head NPC replacers. The poster stated they went back to an earlier version of Faster HDT-SMP, however did not say which version or if it's SE/AE compatible.

I am using a lot of high-poly stuff, but it still happens in places without any NPCs with high poly heads. Im seeing a pattern where autosaves trigger it often, and am currently trying to see if that is the problem. In my totally not expert opinion, I don't believe physics should trigger it. I've only used floating cam when it happened (or just always), maybe could be related to that.

I disabled an autosave mod I had, (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/37133?tab=description) which did autosaves at an interval, and now it doesn't happen anymore. Maybe I was lucky and it just didn't trigger yet. If I remember, I will update this if it happens again. 1
