Just stating if this is port of the Indika nude mod for PC that mod has problems to begin with when i play it crashes the game & if i remove it no crashes occurs.

Yes OG mods crashes the game I've tried multiple ranges of PC from 16-Vram decent Graphics-cards Laptop not gaming Laptop to Great Gaming Laptops to Gaming Desktop that still crashes i don't have jailbroken switch & I don't use emulators often.

Him and I had a long talk and I'm on his side. He only made $20 for all of his work and doesn't have the resources to continue for much longer due to increasing costs. I understand that this is for fun but he just doesn't have the financial capabilities to keep going. He's good at it and he enjoys it, why should we punish somebody who wants to contribute? If it's not worth it, don't pay. I gave him $30 for a mod last week that he's working on. The scene of developers working on the switch isn't very big, we have to do better or it's going to eventually die. Rinpunipuni is on the side due to personal issues, and he was very busy at one point.

Well, if you’ve read my previous posts, I did explain that I was trying this as a small side gig to help fund a 4TB SSD, especially with how ridiculously expensive SSDs have become lately. 

 

Everything I had been doing before this was released for free, but unfortunately, simply waiting and hoping for donations just wasn’t working. That’s why I decided to temporarily put the ports behind a paywall until I can raise enough to get the SSD I need. This was never meant to suddenly turn everything I do into permanently paid content.

 

I also mentioned that I still planned to release mods for free, either during the earlier builds, or by making the finished release free for a period of time before putting it in my shop. (Indika for example)

 

That said, I completely understand where you’re coming from. This is your thread, and most of us came to LoversLab for free mods, including me.

 

And to be clear, I’m not claiming ownership of the original mods either. Most of what I do is port free PC mods to Switch, unless it’s something I personally purchased and received permission from the original creator to port.

 

If having my paid ports here goes against what you wanted this thread to be, I respect that. I can simply stop posting them here. I never intended to disrespect what you built here or change the purpose of the thread.

Very few people actually know what goes on behind the scenes. It’s never as simple as copying and pasting some files and calling it a port. Most of the time, I have to hunt down tools, unpack and study the assets from both the PC and Switch versions, compare how each game handles its files, figure out how the original mod works, and then determine how to translate all of that into something the Switch can actually use.

 

At that point, I’m essentially rebuilding the mod.

 

Every game uses different engines, formats, character systems, materials, textures, models, and file structures, so every new game comes with its own learning curve. Sometimes something that took one method on one game requires a completely different approach on another.

 

I’ve ported a lot of games by now. It’s been months of work and literally thousands of tests. I put a ridiculous amount of effort into making sure these mods actually work properly on real Switch hardware.

 

But even now, the shop isn’t doing particularly well, so maybe this is the perfect time to finally call it quits, stop this cursed hobby, actually start playing games again, and move on with life. 😂

 

I don’t even know why I’m still torturing myself trying to force PC mods onto the Switch when I already have a perfectly capable gaming PC and handheld PC.

 

Thanks to everyone who supported me along the way. I truly appreciate it, but this hobby and sideline just aren’t worth the heartache for me anymore.

I don’t have the same knowledge or skills as you, but I really relate to how you feel. That said, personally, I’d like to see you keep at it. Why not take it one step at a time at a slower pace? Lately, you’ve been posting about one piece a week—wouldn’t it be fine to post once every few weeks, or maybe once every one or two months? After all, this is just a hobby!
Please take a little break before diving back in. It would be such a shame if you were to leave us.
I want you to keep going.

Hi rsxxx I understand how you feel but what your doing is basically a Witch Hunt I don't know all the Details & Facts but if Cutepatatas knows Uchindra and kombat73 they partially to blame for this situation not Cutepatatas Uchindra contact me to get in touch with someone who left Loverslab for being Harassed to see if he was willing to help fund for DSTS to get mods I replied he no longer wants anything to do with this Community when we talked Uchindra never mentioned mods for PC just Switch version which work differently me & him play on PC that deal doesn't help PC user only switch user as for if Cutepatatas really been putting out once a week with no support I'd be tired and upset to

Doesn't matter anymore. It's done and over with, Cutepatatas doesn't need a reason and pointing fingers is a waste of time. The end result is we lost another modder who just wanted to contribute what they could. I wish Cutepatatas all the best in his/her future.

That's not harassing, harassing is repeatably bothering or barating someone. And they even admitted to their own fault, even though in my opinion they were sort of right.
