Someone messaged me about how to port Dragon Quest XI S PC mods to the Switch, so here is a very brief walk-through for anyone interested.  The idea is to unpack the PC .pak files and then repack them in a way the Switch can read them.  I followed two guides for this process:

2. Tool for repacking mods for Switch: https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-unpack-and-repack-unreal-engine-4-files.531784/

 

The second step was quite tricky to follow - for me at least - but once you have everything set up it's not too difficult to convert mods.  To help save some time for anyone who wants to give it a shot, DQXI S is "v4" on the Switch, so you will need to download Unreal Engine 4.19.2.
