Simple Needs mod; bathing and evacuation

I really don’t want to use a “needs” type mod as I’m fine w/ roleplaying those aspects and don’t want the added scripts running all the time. Now for some stuff, there’s nice alternatives. Animation mods for eating and drinking, animations for sleeping. These are nice as you get that visual effect w/o the scripts and (to me) annoying micro managing.

Buuut, there’s a couple things that we don’t have alternatives for, except for the big needs mods, and I’d love if someone could whip up SIMPLE alternatives for them. These are bathing, pooing and peeing. Yep, the nasty everyday, ugly underbelly of life, but yet by their sheer absence, is very noticeable (by me nyway,) conspicuous and immersion breaking!

And one called Private Needs, that require about 4 plugins to get working.

 but again, they are pretty complex. Moreso than I think many would want. And they break some stuff in the popular water mods. Far as I know  they remove the splash effect from water. So could some kind soul make something simple. There are some outhouse (Strotis Out Door Toilet) resources…

(tho the roof is backwards^).  It could just be really simple. Outhouse with door, flagged to sit on by pc and NPCs. That would work fine. Placed throughout skyrim, or even something portable like tents that we could active and place. Private needs has some facial animations for relieving oneself. I haven’t seen them but that sounds kinda neat lol. But not needed.

The bathing in those needs mods seems to have problems because it has to determine if you’re actually in water, and popular water mods change the makeup of water so the bathing can’t detect that water. If a fix is made for the bathing, it breaks splash effects. So hows about a simple mod that give u the dirty effect. Shader, dust cloud, whateva. But then does NOT need to use bathing in water at all. You just use the washrag, power, spell whenever you want, and the shader is removed and an animation plays. That’s it. No need for any particular detection of water. Just you roleplaying. Simple!  I mean, if u use it in a dry field then that’s your screwup. You’d need to just have enough restraint to use it in water. Anybody else want something like this?

No.. they aren't complex. No.. private needs doesn't require several plug ins to get working. No.. it hasn't broken my water. Not that I have seen anyway. It adds outhouses, those very same ones to nearly every Inn in skyrim. Behind them actually so you can use them as you need. Also, bathing works just fine. And it detects when I am in water, have yet to have a problem.

I haven't noticed any horrible slowing down using all these things (I use private needs as well) .. and I run 250 mods.  So I dunno.

 

Though I assume you are asking for something that combines all of these into one and is simple? Well you could have fun trying to figure out how to do it with no scripts at all. That would be fun Always fun learning how to create.

So if you take Carida's advice and use those, don't forget to disable your animations in RND and use the patch!  @Carida, great advice by the way!
