How to add more canines? dogs , wolves?

Hi.

 

I cant seem to find any dogs or any canines in the world. Not sure how to increase the chance or add more. Is there any mods i need that adds more animals,. ie canines or a trick to it?

I think you can only get domesticated dogs through events or merchants. I have Spidercamp's Dog Pack installed which add a bunch more dog breeds, which indirectly causes more merchants to sell dogs (They won't have doggie genitals though).

Wolves do spawn in the wild but their spawn chance depends on the biome. Out of the vanilla biomes, I think temperate forests have the highest chance of spawning wolves. If you want to spawn wolves via cheats, you can do it via developer mode (You can turn it on in the options)

wolves spawn in boreal and temperate forests, temporate swamps, cold bogs and tundra at about the same rate
