theviewer Posted July 18, 2025 Posted July 18, 2025 I wanted to populate the Wasteland with sexy bots with the Servitron and Servitrons as Assaultrons mod, but it doesn't seem to work as expected. I installed the mod, updated the bodyslides via a template I liked, then created a new character. The tape didn't appear when I left the vault, but I just added it back in via console commands. However, when I tried to either get an existing Assaultron or create a Servitron, it didn't work correctly, showing what is below. Any ideas what I did wrong?
FlingMaster69 Posted July 18, 2025 Posted July 18, 2025 (edited) If you are running something like "Robots have Genders Too" you need to make sure that you didn't install any of the esp files that are marked for Assaultrons, they usually have "_ass" at the end of the file. Servitrons are Assaultrons needs to load after any other esp from that mod, otherwise it will not work, you also need to make sure you used the Servitron Install tape on your Pipboy. Oh and all of this needs to be done on a new save, otherwise you may still get errors like Assaultrons with disjointed body parts A posing while using the Servitron animations. Also check that you aren't above the ESP/ESM limit of 255. As for actually making a Servitron, remember to give your robot only Servitron parts, the second image makes me think you gave the robot the Servitron Torso I think it is?, then didn't change any of the other body parts, first image I've never seen one like that, unless that's just getting the torso to work then removing the legs. theviewer Posted July 18, 2025 Author Posted July 18, 2025 I didn't pick up "Robots Have Genders Too" since I felt like it would conflict with the Servitrons are Assaultrons mod (and I wanted most of them to be gals anyway). My mod list is set up like this, at least in regards to the Servitrons. Although I'm dealing with a weird issue, one that I didn't deal with when I first did this (the images in the previous post were a while back, hadn't gotten the chance to debug till now). When I leave the vault, I don't get the Servitron tape automatically. When I did it last time I just added the tape back into my inventory with player.additem. It still doesn't get added to my inventory automatically, so I tried to do the same thing. Problem is it doesn't seem to recognize that the item exists, even though the ID is there...You can see that I was looking for it with the help command, but when I put in in exactly, no luck. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here.

Here's the base mods, related mods are shown under the related tab. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/32801 By all means, if you figure out a means to fix it, let me know. The Modlist seems fine?, the Servitron files aren't being overwritten from what I see, what I was refering to on my original reply was the load order that is shown on the Plugins tab, if there's usually a number right next to the word "Active", hover over it and it should tell you the total number of ESP+ESM files that are being loaded, if they're above 255 you might've reached the plugin limit, though if that screenshot of MO2 is you full modlist, I doubt you'd be anywhere close to the limit. Another thing that's a little bit weird, LLFP is FourPlay right?, pretty sure that mod is obsolete since before I started modding FO4, if you have it installed alongside AAF that might be the thing that's breaking everything. I'm using the Fusion Girl conversion of Servitron so I don't have the same bodyslide files as you, but like I mentioned in my original reply, check that you didn't build the file that's just a preview, I think it even is marked as "DO NOT BUILD", I don't think it actually breaks everything but check if its there just to be sure. As for "Robot Have Genders Too", main reason I have it installed alongside the Assaultrons are Servitrons patch is because I've had issues where the base robot that is build at the workbench always gets recognized as male, and even after using the "sexchange" command on them, AAF will still recognize them as male. You can install it alongside the other mod just fine as long as you don't have any of the Assaultron files from the robot gender mod active, just make sure that after using LOOT, you manually set Assaultrons are Servitrons to load after all of the patches, as loot will try to make the mod load before them. With that mod installed, if the base bot that the workbench spawns has pink paint on its legs, it usually means it's a female robot. I've got mine set up like this:

I think you're right about LLFP being FourPlay. I think I downloaded it as part of the AAF "Fucking Manual", since a popup came up with one of the other mods came up. The tape still seems to not appear at the start of the game unfortunately, and when I tried to spawn Kleo in, she's mishappen. As for other stuff, I can confirm that I have a smaller amount of Active mods, 37. I don't know what else I should do at this point, at least short of having the exact mods as you. I've been using CBBE, for example.

I've been using CBBE, for example. Since you only have 37 active mods, you could try to reinstall everything and see if that somehow fixes the error, as for FourPlay, "The Fucking Manual" has this listed under uncompatible/outdated mods: ANYTHING Four-Play [except Leito and Crazy animation packs themselves, those are fine]. You could also try to move AAF below the 3 Servitron mods (put it where LLFP is on the screenshot) and then reinstalling it, making sure the Servitron support is installed. Besides that, I'm not really sure what could be the reason the Servitrons look like that, or why the install tape isn't working, maybe go to TFM's Discord for help, they have a troubleshooting channel for issues related to the guide, since that's what you were following.
LLCK2user Posted December 18, 2025 Posted December 18, 2025 (edited) The other problem you might be encountering (especially in the pic with a wedge sticking up from the loer body) is with the Servitron Fusion Girl bodyslides. There's nothing wrong with either mod, but Servitron's FG slides and the viodoe strapon have conflicting skeletons. Just make sure the skel from the FG slides overwrites any others (assuming you're using FG), and you should be okay. Also, make sure you build Servitrons by selecting the legs first. It's not required, but I tend to have fewer problems if I select Servitron legs, then chassis, and then the rest in any order. Took me forever to figure it out, but this solved the (crumpled ball) issue. As far as the install holotape goes, it should appear in your inventory just after you exit Vault 111 the first time. Servitron's author wants the install holotape to be run as early as possible because of the way it injects parts to the robot workbench. At the very least, try to have the holotape installed before getting access to the Robot Workbench. If you've met ADA, it's probably too late. Load an earlier save, or start a new game. If the holotape doesn't show up after exiting the vault (happened to me, once), you'll need to add it via the console, or possibly wait for papyrus to catch up (it may not). Edited December 18, 2025 by LLCK2user I'm an old idiot. Mistook one previous post for another, and forgot to mention the holotape problem.
